I called in asking for the rates for the day while I was shopping for a lender. Mr. Behrmann admitted that the most accurate way to quote a rate is to look at the whole picture, so we immediately did the application over the phone in about 20 minutes. After which he gave me an approval, rate, and breakdown of the closing costs. He could not lock the rate without the purchase agreement, which I emailed to him. Plus he would need the appraisal fee of $400 up front to get started. I had no problem, especially since we could do this over the phone with my visa card. He emailed over my approval letter which included the items I would need to send him in order to process my loan. I sent everything over the next morning. He called my Realtor and took the driver's seat from there. It took about 2 weeks to finalize everything. Mr. Behrmann also came to the closing at Talon Group title and answered any questions I had. I would like to point out that the closing costs were lower than he originally told me... that's a first!
