I was very impressed with Schichtel Plumbing. The plumber scheduled in a timely manner, was prompt, and did a great job. He was clean and cleaned up after himself. I already had the sink and faucet, and he brought everything he needed for a successful installation, including all the plumbing that goes under the sink. He had to cut our counter to fit the new sink. He was here about three hours. I was very pleased with the cost of his service.

Root cause was determined and the decision was to wait until spring to fix. Water leak has stopped for now.

Checked out all available pipes plus went into access points to look. As there's no moisture will recontact if anything comes up. Good communication, very professional.

Courteous, punctual, and provided helpful information.  Completed work as promised and cleaned up perfectly. 

Steve needed to use his large ladder to get into the 16ft high ceiling, to assess the situation and to discuss his findings with me. I did offer to pay whatever his fee was, but he declined payment. That was a nice surprise! He was fast, competent, knowledgeable and did not charge for his time. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve to anyone with a plumbing problem!

Steve was great to work with.  He was here when he said he would be and worked nonstop while he was here.  Very good experience.  We would definitely use Steve in the future for any plumbing needs.  

Was able to come in less than twenty four hours of contact. Called to say he was running late. Fixed leak quickly by correcting a problem in the system. Left everything clean and tidy. Will be sure to use again.

Everything went fine, despite old corroded connections and the removal of an old hot water faucet tank.  Old shower faucets could not be updated, but were restored to good functioning.

He is prompt and straightforward. He just gets the work done without a bunch of fanfare. We really went through a number of plumbers to finally find this guy...he is great and a keeper!

Improving water pressure involved replacing pipes and removing drywall work was completed and cleaned up efficiently.

He was a great guy to work with. Here's a contractor who actually does what he says he's going to do. The work was done on a timely basis at a fair price. I definitely have a new plumber.

The plumber we used years ago had retired, so thanks to Angie's List, I found this one. I had tried to clean out the drain and even tried Liquid Plumber over the years. We had an acrylic tub placed over the old tub in 2004, so I thought there might be some problem with that. Fortunately, Steve cleaned out the drain and it now works as it should. Nice to take a shower without standing in inches of water. Thanks Steve and thanks to the reviewers on Angie's List!

Steve was very professional and punctual. He was able to come out to see us the same day that we called. We had had another plumber come out previously for the same issue (sewer smell in bathroom), and they had told us that they would need to tear into the wall to figure out the source of the smell if their temporary fix didn't work. When the smell came back, we decided to try Steve instead. Steve was much more confident of exactly what the problem was, and noticed a small error that the previous plumber made that was causing the smell to come back. He fixed this for us, and the smell has not returned. He was very affordable. We will definitely use Steve for future plumbing issues.

Steve provided excellent and prompt service, especially considering I called for help on a Sunday morning. He was there and fixing the problem within an hour and a half after I called. I would highly recommend him and plan to call him again if we are in need of plumbing services.

We recently hired Steve to modify the plumbing for our bathroom remodeling project. He was prompt, professional and perhaps best of all...left everything as clean (or cleaner) than when he arrived.
