I called for service on my hot tub at least six times. They promised to fix it and never showed up.

A couple of months after putting my spa on consignment with Northern Paradise I began trying to contact them to check on the status of the tub. I left a number of messages over a 4 week period, eventually learning that the tub had sold. It took 5 more months and many unanswered calls to finally receive payment. When the payment did come it was for far less than we agreed. Basically, they increased their repair fees and claimed to have sold the tub for less than our agreed price, but never contacted us for approval to do so. During further discussions they denied the terms of our original agreement and even refused to provide documents proving what they claim the spa sold for.
If you decide to use these folks for similar services my recommendation is to develop a written consignment agreement clearly documenting in writing the sales price, fees, commission, and payment terms. Also note that that the final sale of your equipment must be approved in writing if it differs from your agreement. Even then you should be prepared for delays in payment and poor communication.
