everything was just fine

The counter person (as always) refused to give him an itemized receipt for the dry cleaning - but just a general receipt with a number on it (not even the amount of items). We have brought in a 30 gallon bag of extremely expensive clothing and a smaller bag of three items. We were told that there was a fail proof camera that recorded everything one brought in. When my husband went to pick up the dry cleaning, they told him he never brought it in the larger bag. He was further told he brought in a bag of paper shavings. We don't have paper shavings. OOPS. The "fool proof" camera just happened to be turned off. The owner who just happens to own Elite Dry Cleaning as well, had his attorney write us a letter and called us "extortionists", and then offered us a penny on the dollar to settle the claim. He also required all type of releases. Unfortunately the owner owns most if not all dry cleaning establishments in Traverse City. So much for competition.

The results are just as expected.  No disappointments.
