Terrible. My elderly mother called because she needed a drain installed in her front yard so she could have a driveway installed. When they got there they said they could do the drain and they could also put in the driveway. They said they could put in crushed concrete that will harden over time. She hired them. They came and spread pea gravel over the yard. Grass was still there growing through the gravel. She called and they came back and dug a little deeper and spread more gravel and told her it would harden. She has not been happy with it since and has been calling but they will not return her call. Now she is stuck in her home because they cannot plow her driveway. They will just plow up the gravel. It did not harden and will never harden they lied and took advantage of my elderly parents. My mom is my dad's caregiver, he has Alzheimer's so she has a lot on her plate and they took advantage of her. I live 4 hours away so I could not be there when they came.

Floodman is the BEST in town in my opinion. I recommend them to everyone I know. I have been using this company since the early 80's. When our entire basement flooded with sewage I called Erich at 10:30 pm and he arrived at 11 pm and never left til 2 am. Not only that Erich was back at 8 am the next morning. Erich was there every step of the way until the repairs were done-several months later. Erich and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful to work with-professional, courteous, on time and go above and beyond to be helpful. I can not say enough good things about Erich and his staff.

Terrible! They LOST quite a number of our items from dishes to furniture. Had to take them to COURT and we WON! The first thing ERIC the owner wanted us to do was sign an NDA, but as you can see that DID’NT happen. So, You’ve been warned! We were NOT happy at all!

They did three positive things : they did what they said they would do; they did it for the price they quoted (no high pressure upsell attempts); and they started and finished when they said they would. Within days the owner, Eric, did a followup visit and we discussed a couple punch list items. To my surprise they got on them that day and completed them. I liked that they are local, honest as far as can tell them, and provided a good value compared to other quotes I had gotten.

We had Erich do 2 jobs for us - encapsulate a crawl space and waterproof the lower level of a cottage. He did an exceptional job. He was on-time for the initial appointment. He gave us fair estimates. The jobs were started and completed on time. He was always accessible for questions. When his crew found a damaged sewer pipe, he helped to arrange a repair and actually laid extra material (at no additional cost) to contain any spillage from the repair. His level of attention to detail and accessibility is pretty much unheard of nowadays in home repair. I have been around a while, and he (and his crew) are one of the best and most reliable I have ever hired. I would highly recommend his services.

Floodman was professional and fast. They gave me several different options for my foundation repair. They didn’t try to sell me a bunch of services that I didn’t need. They helped me decide which option was best for my situation. We settled on a minimum invasive approach since it was just one small crack and we had not had any problems in the past. After the repair they were available to answer questions I had as I was doing my own drywall repair. They even sent one of their techs back to my house just to check and make sure the repair was curing properly. In my opinion they are the only company to call if you are having basement problems.

Efficient and appropriate

Eric and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient.  We were able to get an estimate within a day or two of contacting Eric.   Approximately within a week of getting the estimate we closed on our home and reconnected with Eric to give him our time frame and tentative work schedule of other contractors who would be working on the home.  He was very easy to work with and flexible about his availability to complete the job.  The first day on the job we were unable to be at the house.  Eric contacted me as he got into the job and stated he wasn't totally happy with how the floors and grout were cleaning up, but also stated the floors looked much better.  Upon our initial review of the work there was a noticeable difference and we were happy to have the floors "cleaned up".  Within a day of the floors being done and dried we covered them with mover's paper in preparation of our household being moved into the home.  Once the move was completed and we uncovered and lived in the home for a day or two we too were not 100% pleased with the cleaning results.  But as soon as we called Eric, he offered to come and give it another try.  He came back in within 2-3 days with a crew of three guys and they worked for 2 more hours at no additional charge - again hand and machine scrubbing the grout and tile.  This time much more of the grime was removed.  We were very satisfied with his work and satisfaction guarantee.  In his defense, the tile and grout in the kitchen, hallway and downstairs bathroom were severely soiled, and very dirty/grungy/grimy.  So severe that we had considered having it all removed and replaced, but didn't want to incur such an expense.  Eric and his team saved us a lot of money by giving us some clean and revived tiling and grout.
