Installer had great difficulty getting system connected and working. It took about 8 hours and should have taken about 3. A second installer came a couple weeks later to mount the satellite dishes. He was more knowledgeable and able clean up a couple issues the first installer was not able to address.
The internet service is reliable but much slower than I am accustomed to.

I am pleased with the service provided.

I purchased my Tailgater System on-line from Tweety's.com, then called DISH directly for service activation on a month by month no contract basis. "Local" retailers told me I had to have service at my home and/or there would be a $200 connection fee. None of that was accurate.

I've subscribed to Dish Network since they started the company. I'm very disappointed in what the company has become. They lie to, cheat, and wear down their customers in a conflict or request. Their customer service is now completely gone. They consider themselves above reproach and do not care if their customers are satisfied. They used to be a good company, but I believe they have grown into a monster in the service department. If you can find an alternative to this satellite TV service ... use it. I wouldn't buy stock in their company either. Any company that is lacking in customer service as they are will eventually go down.

We chose them because of price and overall availability. We only have problems when we have a major ice storm.

Dish Network's installer tried to charge me money when he did the installation on two occasions. This was after Dish Network told me installation was free. I had to chase the installer away. The service was constantly out. I will not use Dish Network ever again.
