Berg Well Drilling

I can't say enough nice things about this company. Wanted to prophylactically replace my pump which was quite old before it failed. The Berg's and their company were very responsive in these challenging times and I am very pleased with the completed project.

Work was done in a professional manner.

They researched my original installation and arrived with all possible parts that may be needed and replaced only what was bad. From first call to replacing a blown submersible pump was only three hours. Crew was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Called them and they rearranged their day to get a team here within an hour. They found a bad controller/switch, adjusted the pressure on the pressure tank, and replaced the pump - all in under 4 hours.

Very prompt service. Thoroughly explained what was wrong and how it would be fixed. Their prices were similar to other service providers. They seemed to be honest folks that provided the required services at a fair price. I would recommend Berg Well Drilling to anyone who needs to have their well serviced.

Mr. Berg (the first) told me he would call me at  noon the next day and let me know when his son would be heading my way.  He called promptly at noon and asked if I still had water, which I did.  They had an emergency "no water" call at an adult foster care home in a neighboring county and Mr. Berg asked if it would be ok to reschedule and come out first thing in the morning.  I agreed and at 8:30 am the next day, Mr. Berg (the first) called to let me know that Doyle Berg III was on his way.  This is a wonderful family to deal with because they are knowledgeable, polite and very organized.  All the repairs went very smoothly and I've had no problems since.  I would highly recommend their services!

Went excellent! Would highly recommend Berg to anyone needing well work done.

We called Berg Well Drilling because we did not have any water.  Doyle Berg Jr. came out and determined that our well pump had frozen and the pump casing had split.  He had to make two trips, one to determine the problem, and another to replace the pump.  He was very professional, friendly, prompt, and showed us how to use and take care of the new pump. I would definitely use Berg Well Drilling again.

Woke up in the morning, well was no longer working, contacted Berg Well Drilling to discuss the issue.  They were out at the house by 11:00 am.  They pulled the original well permits to try and get an idea of how deep the well was.  Per the permit the pump was only down 40 feet.  Berg suggested we try and pull the pump out by hand to save some money if he didn't have to leave and bring back his well truck.
Found out well was much deeper.  He left, was back within 2 hours with his truck, took a little over 2 hours to pull the old pump out and place the new one in.  Upon inspection it was determined that the cause of the failure was from lightning.  He worked with my insurance company for reimbursement of the costs of the replacement minus my deductible.
Was still having some pressure issues after work was completed, he came back out to the house a couple of days later, tested my pressure tank and pressure switch, made a suggestion to me on what to clean out which helped my pressure.  He did not charge me for the second trip to the house.
It wasn't great to have this experience but working with Berg made it a lot easier.  Very friendly, professional and accommodating, answered my questions while doing the work.  From what I've read the price was maybe a little more than what I could have gotten through other companies but the overall experience working with Berg was so good I wouldn't hesitate to suggest one of my friends calling them even if it were to costs a little more.  The customer service aspect was totally worth it.
