There were two areas of my privacy fence that were leaning. I called to arrange an estimate for the work. They told me when they would be out to look at the fence. I left the gate unlocked since I was at work when they came out. I never heard back from them. I called a week later to see if they had made it out to look and whoever I talked to seemed to vaguely remember the fence and said it would be "around 375.00". I agreed to the charge and we set up a day to perform the work. They never showed up or called to cancel or re-schedule. I had actually given up on these guys then out of the blue they called and said something about getting behind because it was Easter and all and they wanted to come out the next week. Well, I still hadn't committed to the other company bidding(wish I had) so I hired them to do the work. This next part is totally my fault for not getting a written estimate and for assuming. The other company had given me a written estimate of 700.00 to replace ALL 18 fence posts(they were poorly installed). T & R replaced 3, and moved the latch on my gate for 350.00. I officially have buyer's remorse.

They were able to pinpoint the exact problem with my deck; why it was falling apart in certain areas, also able to vent it better.

I was worried. What was a young couple with little money to do? We had a garage falling to pieces in the back yard. Another winter and the thing would have fallen down. It needed some professional TLC and quick. The problem, of course, was money. I had six estimates on my project ranging from T&R's price to $5,000.00. T&R came out in February and gave an estimate informing us of a price we thought too good to be true after being hit with estimates of $4,000 and $5,000.00. So, given their positive record on the List and with the Better Business Bureau, we hired them. The guys were out here in conditions that were not the most delightful. They worked in snow. They worked in rain. They trudged in the mud; all of it to get our project down in a timely manner. The work was meticulous. They didn't half-do things. I never asked them to reinforce the beams in the garage but they did it. They also gave me advice on my garage door and how to fix it. They care about precision.

They came in and completed projects that other contractors started and when problems arouse their prices to complete were unacceptable. E.G: contactor came in to move doors in kitchen. Two walls plaster crumbled and needed to be re-drywalled. Therefore, they could not put up the door moldings and replace molding around the floors etc. The contractor price to drywall and finish off the kitchen was over $5000 (5X7 area). Contractor replaced my roof and did not put flashing around the chimney. He came back and tarred around the chimney but it still leaked and closet ceiling fell in. Closet was 7X3. T & R came in and drywalled the ceiling and part of the wall, painted for around $800. In addition they put in a shelving unit to maximize the space for the cost of me buying the unit. They also did little fix its, e.g.: put registers on heat openings, tighten doors knobs, put handles on windows with no extra charge. Because they needed to be done. They care about details.
