The belt in my Forester was squeaking for almost a year, and I was treating it with a bar of soap, which would stop it for 3-5 days. I have recently taken several long trips, which made the squeak a lot worse. Found Longs on AL and went with them based on good reviews. Got in first thing the day after I called, dropped it off around 1030 and got it back before on. Great work, honest, good advice and extremely reasonable rates. Also, said if there were any more squeaking issues he'd readjust it free of charge. Definitely found my mechanic!

Long's reviewed the issues with me and helped determine how much it was worth repairing the hand me down car my HS son was driving They didnt want me to flush money down a hole. They did a short term fix that lasted through his school year. Never even charged me. They hand out their home phone for emergencies. They also have great selection of entry level used cars that they sell on the lot. Something for everyone. One of the last true full service private mechanics.

I was back on the road by 12 noon. The car had well over 250k on it and is destined for the new HS aged driver in the home After fixing the starter he noticed some hesitation .( I had just credited that to the high miles etc.... )Well..... He found a fuel injector needing repair and just fixed it.. No extra charges. Oh did I mention he dropped the car back at my house so my wife could get out that afternoon.... Family owned business. Life time local residents. Very involved in the community with youth sports and HS boosters. His business card has his home phone on it. I asked why. He said " I have had customers who have family or guests visiting and something happens like over christmas and they need to get fixed up ASAP" "So I make sure they contact me if needed"
