 + -1 moreI was surprised when Laura arrived to give an estimate because I was not expecting a woman in this line of work. After talking to her, I was very proud because she was a woman and amazed because she was extremely knowledgeable. The contract was signed that day because of her professionalism. She agreed to wait a few days while I worked out the financing. This was my mother's home, and the company gave her a senior discount which was very appreciated. After the job was completed, the workers took the time to explain the layout of the shingles. The new roof and chimney make the house look so much better.
Description of Work: When the workers performed the roofing job, it only took one day. Everything was cleaned up and left like it was found when they arrived. They also installed a new chimney.

gutter cleaning, gutter repair
 + 0 moreMetro Construction Co. was scheduled to clean and repair, as necessary, the gutters on my house. I was quoted a price of $175 which was $135 more than a price in a previous report on this company. I agreed to the work anyway. I was told the work could be done in spite of the fact I would not be home. When I returned home and checked the gutters I discovered the work had not been done. When I called to cancel the job I received no explanation why they did not do the work. I do not recommend this company at all.
Description of Work: The company was supposed to clean and repair, as necessary, the gutters on my house on Friday, September 15, 2006. The work was not done.

Description of Work: They put a new roof on our house. They had to remove a tile roof on the house before they could re-roof it. They also had to tear off and re-roof the garage.
