PRUDENTIAL ONE REALTY

Martie Clark was my realtor in the sale of my house.  She is very personable and friendly.  She did a great job of putting the house on the market and I was very happy with her service at the beginning.  The problems started when an offer was made.  The buyers were a client of her son, David who is also a realtor in her same office.  From that moment on I never felt I had the proper representation that I was paying for.  No matter what questions or problems arose the only answer I ever received from Martie was "Let me check with David".  After she would "check with David" things always were answered in favor of the buyer - no compromising.  I will say, however, that when Martie handled a situation on her own then she did work for me.  When the inspection was done - there was an issue on the report about the sump pump.  The inspector said that the pump needed to "be sealed" - which, of course, is not a possibility.  Martie took it upon herself to bring in another inspector to get his opinion - and she even paid for that to be done too.  I really appreciated that.  David had told her to have me pay for it but she told him that she wanted to help.  
Martie did sell my house; and sold it quickly too.  She was professional, personable and very likable.  I believe that the problems started due to my buyers being clients of her son.  I do believe that if the buyers had a different realtor then things would have gone more smoothly.  As it was - she only did what David told her to do which was all in favor of the buyer.  That is why I feel I didn't have the level of representation that I should have had.
