Jake's Ceramic Tile

Jake was prompt with the appointed time for an estimate of work to be done. His estimate was for labor and disposal only. He started work on the date promised and finished in time for our out of town trip. He and his brother were pleasant and worked quickly, cleaning up the mess at the end of each day. They are skilled at their trade and did an excellent job with the installation of tile and building the counter top. Jake was patient and answered all our questions. We purchased and paid for all the material, including the tile. Jake supplied the grout. They did such a good job that we gave them a bonus. The only problem was at the completion of the job. There was a discrepancy as to the credit for returned tile and that is why I gave a grade C for professionalism.

Jake did the entire demolishing portion of the project himself in a day. Tearing out the existing tile and cement floor, tub and shower. The next day be picked up and installed a tub that I had selected from Home Depot and started laying in tile on the floor and wall. Added all new green drywall to shower area and tiled all the way to the ceiling, including glass accent tile and shampoo and soap nook in the wall. Trimmed the wall wainscoting the beautiful stone trim and also installed a granite counter top with under mount sink. The project went very smoothly and Jake cleaned up each day. The results of the master bathroom tile project are stunning.

Jake and crew - mainly his brothers were very courteous. I thought the prices were excellent. I tried getting prices separately from plumber, handyman, electrician, tile guys and his prices was much better than the quotes I've received. There were 2 times they were late - by 1 -2 hours. But Jake was always reachable. Jake was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Nice clean crew. Very reliable.
