Hired Yuriy Popovich to install a roof and he was a good, skilled technician. He, also, added soffits & fascias. It took him a long time to even start the project, as six weeks passed, before he began. He and his team, who was hired only two days took their time completing the work and they left a message of scraps & trash in the backyard, front yeard and along sides of the house. Yuriy finished installing the soffits, then took forever to hire a company to install the vents. When the company arrived to provide a quote, he wasn't here, but showed up 20 minutes later and negotiated with his vendor. They didn't show up for a couple weeks due to rain, but eventually finished. I told him I was a construction project manager in another state and that he needs to meet both the schedule and the budget. He shrugged his shouilders when I complained how long the project took, advising that nothing moves fast with construction. No doubt, he believes this, but another company would put those remarks to shame. Would I hire him, again? Absolutely not. He was a vendor that required me to babysit him, e.g., did that get done, when will this start, why isn't XYZ starting, etc. He does not know how to manage a project, nor a team and he over-charged for his work. Never, again. He did decent work on the roof, but doesn't know how to put it into second gear. Customers/homeowners don't have three months to get a stupid roof put on their house. Yuriy will just shrug his shoulders. Me: No, thank you. Never, again.
