They wired a basic switch for an overhead shower. It was not wired to code. They refused to come back and correct the problem. Told me, in writing, that it was my problem because they had closed out their permit. They made a mess, left without giving me an update on the job. Buyer beware.

"Hello Eileen... We had closed your permit post rough wiring. When we tried to reach you on numerous occasions to return to finish we were informed the work had already been done. This work was not performed by Tandem Electric. With permitting we are not liable for others work. Therefore we had closed out final permit to allow you to have your permit pulled for work we did not perform. A one star is very disrespectful in my opinion as we were just awarded runner up in Peoples Choice of 2024 in West Michigan. I ask that you remove this review and we can discuss resolutions. We are a company of 10 and every person depends on our reviews to educate our potential customers. This would greatly effect our relationship and reputation moving forward. I hope you have it in you to understand a 1 star is not fair. As you can see we have 5 stars leading up to this job. Regards, Travis (owner)"

Travis called right away, and set up a time that worked with our busy schedules. He and his crew arrived on time, donned shoe protectors, and got to work. They changed out three light fixtures, put a plate on a junction box, and performed a safety inspection. Very professional. Would gladly hire again, and heartily recommend.

Travis with Tandem Electric is very helpful, caring, understanding, and professional. Travis has contacted me in late December 2014 for recessed lighting for my living room. Well, before that project got on the way, my electric stove stopped. I did not money for repairs at that time so Travis said that I could pay later. Travis was more concern of the welfare of my son and I. You don't find people like Travis anymore. Travis proved to me that it is not always about money.
