We gave them an advance check of $1500. They came out for an hour, damaged two more windows and refused to come back unless we paid them more money. It cost another $500 to have the newly damaged windows repaired.

They showed up for less than an hour, damaged two more windows, repaired none and refused to come back and repair the windows we'd damaged unless we paid them more money. It cost us over $400 to repair that which they damaged on top of the $1,500 we paid them in advance. These folks are just plain thieves.

Terrible service. They verbally tell you all they can do to get your money. When it comes time to deliver they ask for more money and state they have nothing in writing. They do not stand by their word.

Where to Start?
These people should not be in the modern business world...W ELL ACTUALLY THEY ARE NOT!
They don't keep records of past orders, and they can't email appropriately sized/formatted quotes
The owner is rude and has hung up on my husband (husband was being very polite at the time)
Each time they come out they create more problems
They try hard to blame anyone but themselves
I have waited over year..yes really.. for some correctly sized sashes
They messed up 8 out 11 windows ordered, sometimes they messed up the reorders too, one of them 3 times, and we are stiil waiting for a resolution, however now we are dealing with Hurd directly.
They seem incapable of getting the position of some in the glass grilles to the right dimensions so all the windows match, and for a window company that should be a basic!
The story of our window experience is too long and convoluted to tell, but I will just say
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS

"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], You purchased through Direct Buy replacement windows from Hurd. The sash came with SDL bars which did not meet your expectations. You worked directly with Hurd to get the replacements & we allowed them to use our local facility as the warehouse. We are not Hurd windows, we were not the problem. The confusion was between you and Hurd. It is also my understanding from records that the sash sat in our warehouse for many months at a time as you could not be reached by E-mail or by phone. Your comments here are unfair & unfounded. Pullum WIndow has been providing quality window & door products since 1921. Our repeat business & 4th generation reputation speaks for itself."

I was out of town while the windows and door were installed. The men assured me they would come back to address any concerns after I got back to town. They did come back and addressed all of my concerns. They did a good job.

Charlie Pullum came to see my house and put together an estimate. We ordered windows for my brother at the same time and were able to get a bit of a bulk buy discount. Windows were accidentally dropped off in Chicago, so had to be re-made and took longer than expected. My goal was to have them installed before the new year and we just barely made it. The city inspector came shortly after the work was done and mentioned that the caulk was pretty sloppy. Other than that we love the windows.

The company was very knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. They worked with us and gave us several options to best meet our needs and budget. As this was the first window purchase we ever had to make, we felt comfortable with this family run business that has been in service for many years.

Pullum Windows were very quick and reliable. This company had the best estimate out of any other. They were very clean through the whole process, and very professional as well. They always have a great attitude. I'd recommend them to everyone.
