Frank has finished two basements for me and my family. If we ever did a 3rd, he'd be the 1st call I'd make. He does outstanding work - from design, implementation, clean up, affordability and everything else. You couldn't ask for anything better.

Frank and his brother are exceptional builders! Their expertise in electrical, plumbing, dry wall, cabinet building and design is like I have never seen before! Frank takes pride in his work. He has years of experience as does his brother. They are very reliable and trustworthy. I could not be happier with my new finished basement. It was a total transformation. If you want truely experienced craftsmen request ths company. You will not regret it!

I would highly recommend DeBono Construction! We live in S.Lyon and a few other people in our sub used them and had great things to say. We also saw one of their jobs in our sub that they did which looked amazing! Their written quote with professional drawings were detailed with great design ideas. You knew exactly what was included or not and everything was so reasonable. We loved that they can do everything like electrical, plumbing, painting and they do quality work! They don't run around and do 4 jobs. You will see them everyday mon-fri til the job is done! Great price too! They came highly recommended to me and we highly recommend them to you!

Best contractors I've ever worked with. Both extremely nice and accommodating and do beautiful work. Generally having work done on your house is a huge headache, but they were completely out of the way and left things the way they found them- cleaned their site everyday. We couldn't be happier with the experience or the results! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The work Frank and his brother did was outstanding. I will hire Frank again when I remodel my bathroom in a few years.

Just hire them!! I had to wait around seven months for them to start work on my basement but it was totally worth it. They apparently only do one project at a time which was excellent since your project gets their full attention. I highly recommend them. Frank came up with a good design incorporating an 'open plan' for our basement. They took down some of the existing drywall and did the walls, put in the drop-ceiling and did the painting for the whole area. Also they did the electrical, plumbing and put in the new kitchenette cabinets. Pricing was reasonable for the quality work they do. They used good materials and gave suggestions on where to get our cabinets, sink, flooring etc. Frank and his brother Ken are extremely professional with their work and their attention to detail is impeccable. Since it was just the two of them in the house always, we felt safe knowing that there were not a lot of unknown folks coming into our house. This was a big plus for us since we would not be there at home a lot of the time. It is difficult to get such service professionals and ones with such experience in the construction industry. Only thing is they only do basements nowadays, so I can't get them for any of my other house projects in the future :)

DeBono Construction Company was a very good company to work with for finishing our basement including a full bathroom. They were always on time for appointments, and told me about their plans for working. They were always very considerate of our concerns, and polite. While Frank and Ken worked on our basement, they concentrated on getting our project done as quickly as possible. They provided a construction proposal that was very good, with many details that we could review from time to time as they continued to work. Their proposal included a number of design ideas that have helped our basement to look the best it could be. They always put in their best efforts and used very good products. They stuck to the exact cost of the original proposal. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job, even with a significantly higher price. Brothers Frank and Ken did almost all the work, except for several things that they thought someone else could do better than they could. As a result, the work was always the best it could be. They encouraged us to purchase the sink and vanity, faucets and similar bathroom items, so that we could get exactly what we wanted. I also chose to do the painting. The cost for me for these items was an additional $1,000. We appreciated the opportunity to look around for items that closely fit our tastes. It was a pleasure to work with Frank and Ken, and would recommend to anyone who asked.

Frank and his brother did a great job! Their work was very professional and they made many helpful suggestions that we were very pleased with. We've had several friends and family comment on how well done the work was. The final cost came in lower than the original estimate. I would highly recommend this company.

The work involved knocking down a 15.5 ft wall, framing, dry walling/ priming the expanded area, adding 3 electrical outlets, 2 recessed lights plus dimmer and an HVAC vent.  In the process, Frank fixed several ducting and electrical issues.  
I second what another reviewer said: Just can't say enough about Frank and Ken: they're professional, honest, fair, prompt, smart, creative, artistic, and just a pleasure to work with.  I'm a perfectionist but was completely satisfied with everything they did. Can't say the same about 90%+ of contractors who completed projects in our house.  I would love for Frank and Ken to return for future projects.
The quality of work is exactly what I was looking for.  Loved how they framed around the window blocks, which are great to get natural light in the basement and how they handled the ceiling to minimize height loss due to ducting.  They went with dry wall for the ceiling, which, in my opinion, looks so much better than drop ceiling.

We cannot say enough about working with Frank and Ken DeBono.  We are so glad we selected DeBono Construction to finish our basement.  Our basement came out better than we had hoped.  Frank and Ken are so easy to work with and had great ideas.  Frank took the time to meet with us, discuss our ideas, give suggestions, and come to a final layout for the basement.  We had a cabinet bar area that came out amazing.  They were very professional, neat and orderly.  The process was an enjoyable experience.  We would use them again and would recommend them to family and friends.  Great workmanship, the job was done quickly, and a very good price!

Frank was very creative and amazingly insightful. Other contractors spent about twenty minutes measuring and looking things over for the estimate and Frank took two hours. He came up with many ideas that we had never thought about. He change the direction of the room and provided a much different environment than we had had or had anticipated. He added extra costs only for things we asked for that were not in the original estimate and completed a number of small things he discovered himself for no extra cost. He and his brother were very professional, easy to deal with, and kept everything exceptionally clean and orderly. They worked very efficiently and completed the project on schedule and on budget. I have recommended him to friends of ours looking to remodel their basement and I would definitely use him again for future remodeling projects.

Took a little longer than first thought, but that is the nature of a remodel, Frank is also a perfectionist, which is definitely something to look for in a contractor!

Frank and his brother did all of the work themselves and were fantastic! Great price, excellent craftsmanship. They take pride in their work and paid attention to detail to make sure everything was done right and up to code. Honest and reliable, I can not say enough good things! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

When my husband and I decided to change our dark and cluttered basement into a bright and functional living area, we went to Angie's list to find a contractor. One contractor had a report on his work and the other did not. I am very pleased to submit the first report for DeBono Construction. I liked the fact that they lived and worked in my community and that they are a family business. Even more importantly, they do most of the work themselves without using subcontractors. We interviewed a total of 5 contractors, and after seeing Frank and Ken's work, we decided that we wanted DeBono Construction for our project.

The DeBono brothers transformed the dark and cluttered basement into a work-out room, entertainment area, bedroom with large walk-in closet and a bathroom with large shower, vanity, and linen closet. They installed a laminate floating floor in the work-out room and ceramic tile in the bathroom. They had the added challenge of meeting a deadline. Frank and Ken stepped up to the plate and they completed the job right on time. DeBono Construction more than exceeded our expectations.

Besides being experts at what they do, Frank and Ken are professional, punctual, and personable. You can feel comfortable with them being in your home. My husband and I are completely satisfied with DeBono Construction and we highly recommend them.
