They put down different things through the year so that we have nice grass. They do a good job. It looks good.

The most portion of my yard most in need went untreated if my car was home when the service provider showed up. My yard didn't look how I expected by the end of the year. Today when we arrived home we let out dogs out in our backyard, as we normally do. The worker left the fence wide open and our dogs got out. Needless to say we will not be allowing this company to service our yard anymore.

Very positive experience, they call me the day before they will be out; my lawn is looking a whole lot better!!

Their pricing is good. They come every month.

Great service. Our lawn looks greener than both our neighbors who don't use their service.
Next year will have to judge on their weed control though because at end of summer there was some weeds growing.

So far, we are free of weeds and the lawn has been green and lush.  Happy so far.  The price seems a bit steep for the amount of grass we have in front.  After we have our backyard landscaped, we will revisit the price and seek out a new yearly proposal.  Very professional and prompt response to inquiries so far.

This company helped to really turn my lawn around after another provider had decimated it.  It looks wonderful.  They are always prompt, courteous and responsisve.

We called for weed spraying service in 2014.  They came out a few times, and we noticed some difference in the amount of weeds, but it was understood that it would require several applications for a few years to get a weedless lawn.  However, we noticed some streaks on the lawn with dandelions growing.  Also, there were circles around trees with dandelions, which is not a natural phenomenon, but instead just a lack of thoroughness when spraying.  We decided not to have them return for the 2015 season, but they came anyway and provided a bill.  In fairness, they did call us and left a message, but they did not say that they were actually coming out to spray.  It was a surprise to me when I saw the service flag to keep off the lawn when I pulled into my driveway one day after work.  It was even a bigger surprise when I saw my children playing in the back yard after that.  I am not sure what chemicals they were exposed to, but it would have been nice for this company to let us know that they were coming to spray.  The matter got worse when we received a bill for the first application.  We called and explained to them that we did not order the service for 2015, but they stated that there is an automatic renewal of annual service after we paid for the 2014 service somewhere written in the fine print of the first bill.  Shame on me for not reading the fine print.  However, that is a cheap sales tactic on their part.  I had to pay for a service that I did not want and did not really order.  As a result, I would not recommend this service.

All went well.

They are extremely professional and even when I would forget to pick up the dogs toys, they would always do so before laying down fertilizer.  When I had questions about the lawn, they were always able to tell me what was going on.  I am very happy with the service and will continue using them in the future.

I started using D & G when I lived in Canton in the mid-80's.  They quit serving in the area for awhile, so I used several other lawn treatment companies after that, when I lived in both Canton and Plymouth.  When I discovered that D & G was again serving in the Plymouth area, I started using them again.  I don't ever remember having a problem with them.  I have had problems with a couple of other companies, and was pleased to be able to resume service with D & G.
It's been awhile since I compared prices, but I believe they are reasonable and comparable.  There is a slight discount if you pay for your service at the beginning of the season.   I prepay because it's more convenient not to think about it for the rest of the summer. 
I have occasionally called to get a time estimate of when they will be out for the next treatment.  This is especially helpful during dry weather, so I can plan lawn-watering.  There is always a pleasant woman at the other end of the phone.    I've noticed that some of my neighbors have also started using D & G.  That's good news for me . . . it means they will probably continue to serve my area.

My lawn looks very goo, the last 5 years I had webworm, but this year I did not. I blame  the previous lawn service for allowing  the problem  the last  5 years. Also, when I call for information on reseeding they have given me very helpful advice. I will use them next year. They were recommended to me by my Neice, who is also pleased with them.

They killed my backyard so I fired them. The yard died and it took me a long time to rejuvenate it. The cost was quite reasonable but very ineffective. I don't ever want them in my yard again. They killed my yard so they were too expensive.

My lawn has never looked better. I used Custom Greenery in Farmington Hills for years and every year the lawn would become  diseased with webworm. They always had an excuse why it was that way. This year my lawn has never been greener so will continue using D & G in South Lyons.

Within a week the lawn looked much better.  All of the small brown spots were gone and most of the weeds were dead.  The lawn was nice and green and looked healthy.
It's been a litle over a month since the first application and there are now a few weeds near the edges that need another application.   The lawn is still very green and healthy looking.  I plan on calling them this week to find out when they will be applying the next application of weed killer.

I used them ever spring and summer my lawn is okay. It's got brown spots in some places but we have a dog. They're a little harder for me to judge because we had a host summer and I don't know that any lawn company could keep our backyard looking green. they came out when they're suppose to and they always leave a note indicating what they did. There was at least one time when we were having somebody else was at the house and it was kind of hectic just before open house and he did just come back later rather than coming in. He was very polite. He made a special trip back out when he saw that things were kind of hectic at our house. I have a contract signed with them and they came out every month.
