John was absolutely excellent from the first conversation to the completion of the job! He provides top quality service, was extremely quick to respond to my request for a quote and finished the job very quickly. We never had a bad experience from start to finish and he made the process very smooth. He also quoted us very reasonable price! We will not use another “handyman” for any job besides him now!

We are very happy with our new tile. John and his team did a wonderful job on a herringbone pattern. They were prompt and professional. John was very responsive with communications, as well as creative and thorough. They did a great job with clean up and every little detail of the job. We were so happy we are having them remodel our three bathrooms.

First off, I cannot say enough good things about the SRI Construction owner, John DiMercurio.  John is without a doubt one of the most honest and hardworking contractors I've ever worked with.  Very outgoing, creative and totally customer oriented.  We originally were going to go with SRI for our renovations earlier this year and ended up cancelling due to my mother-in-law's health situation.  When her health stabilized we went back to John and signed the contract to proceed.  Unfortunately in the interim, he had signed a couple other contracts ahead of us and it affected our schedule.  However, knowing our family situation, John did a little juggling and got us scheduled much earlier than expected.  This was much appreciated and way over our expectations. 

John is also number one in communications.  I have never worked with a more responsive contractor than John.  It didn't matter if I texted or emailed him with a question, he replied almost immediately.  Just amazing!  His responsiveness definitely lowered our stress level immensely.

As far as price for the work done, John was very competitive with other companies.  The quality of the work was all top notch. John was on site for the entirely of the project along with his team.  They were always was prompt, professional and courteous.  The finished bathroom is beautiful and will definitely enhance the resale value of our house.  The attention to detail on the tile work, granite, vanity and lighting was second to none. They also did a great job at walling off the in-law's bedroom area into a beautiful living space.   My wife and I are so pleased as are the in-laws!

Again, if you want an honest, hard-working, enthusiastic and energetic contractor who does top quality work, John is your man.  I would not hesitate to go with his company again on any project and I HIGHLY recommend everyone reading this review to do the same!  You won't be disappointed.

John did an excellent job and we were very happy with the results. The job did go slower and took longer than what was originally discussed. We did not care for the service from the guy he uses to do the shower door. This was not a reflection of John and he made sure the other contractor took care of us so we were happy.

Took a while to start work but was honest about timeline and kept us generally updated. John and his crew do all the work themselves. Once he started, he mostly showed regulatly....he didn't appear for a few days, then leave. John appears to have a broad rang of knowledge and knows what he is doing. Overall, there were minimal bumps in the road through the project, and we are very pleased with the outcome. I would use them again.

Jon and his assistants were here just about every day getting this large project done as quickly as possible. 

We are on a slab and experienced some water seeping up through the concrete so we needed someone to help provide a solution that would last.  Jon carefully researched and investigated the best solution for this challenging situation.  We are confident that the issue is resolved.  It is obvious when you see how beautiful the resulting floor is that Jon takes pride in his work.

The bathroom needed to be completely gutted, other than re-glazing the tub.  We were not completely sure going into the project what we wanted to do, but Jon gave some great advise and patiently let us make changes as we came to our final decisions.  The result is awesome!  Jon did a beautiful job!

There were a couple products that were shipped with defects that Jon pointed out and made adjustments to the plan so that the project could keep moving.  The shower door was one of those items that needed to wait to be completed after everything else was done.  Jon came back soon after the parts were available to finish.

The kitchen backsplash was a joint effort between Jon and his tile expert brother Eric.  It is fantastic!  The skill of these two with tile cannot be understated.

Finally Jon runs his business professionally, which is appreciated.  Each change we requested was carefully quoted and he patiently answered all our questions.  One of the reasons we selected Jon was the attention he gave us at the initial visit to understand our needs and carefully prepare the initial quote.

Wow! We are extremely pleased with the results. John was very professional and knowledgeable. It was very easy to work with him. He was patient with us, even when we asked for changes from the original plans. It was nice to work with a Christian builder. He was honest and trustworthy. We were so pleased that we have contracted with him to return to do some more work in our house.

He did a really thorough job and gave me a list of things that needed to be fixed. The turnaround time between when he did the inspection and when he got me the list was 3-4 days. He sent me the list via email.

John and his crew tore out the old shower and built a new larger one.  They ripped out all the old tile flooring and the vanity. Retiled
the whole bathroom and shower .  He took space from an existing old 
 hall linen closet to add extra room in the bathroom.  Added a double sink vanity and linen closet in the bathroom, then primed and
painted the room.  He then put a door in an existing bay window in the kitchen to get onto a deck.  He matched the trim and siding on
the outside of the house and trimmed and dry walled on the inside.  Their workmanship is excellent quality.
John and his crew were always on time and cleaned up after themselves every day.  We will be using them next year for work on our kitchen.

This was a great experience.  They showed up when that said they would.  Gave me a realistic time frame for completion.  Even finished a couple of days early.  They kept the  dust to a minimum.  The workers were always friendly and professional. They worked with me on some changes I wanted to make as the project was underway.  Giving me a price and change in the timeline, if necessary.  The finished product looks even better than i thought it would.  I'm already thinking about the next project I hope on hiring them for.  Great job John, Bill and crew.

Buit my deck

I purchased a Big Deal for 8 hours of work. They installed crown molding in 3 rooms and foyer. It was a 2 person job and thus resulted in 4 hours of work. I purchased an additional 3 hours of work on site. They were very meticulous in installing the crown molding. I purchased enough molding so only my living room needed a seam. They thought there was not enough molding so they put two seams in a bedroom. Turns out there was enough molding so these seams were unnecessary. I had been waiting since April 1, for them to come out to do the work. I kept in contact with John DiMercurio via email. He was always very prompt in replying and kept saying he would get back to me, but then never did. He said he was extremely busy. The job was finally completed on October 1. John said he would arrive at 8:00am and actually arrived a few minutes early. They worked very hard with only a break for lunch. If John is able to respond to your project promptly, I would recommend him.

SRI started the project on time & finished on time, always arriving as scheduled or early & working later if something needed to be completed that day. They totally gutted the master bath, including the soffit over the shower area, installed ceramic tile on the floor and in the newly created shower area. They installed a new toilet and shower head & faucet/handle and a custom fitted semi-frameless glass shower door & an over the toilet oak storage cabinet. The room was also painted & wired for/installed a vented fan with a light, installed a medicine cabinet, a mirror over the sink & a new light fixture. It is fantastic & it looks like it is in a new house. (We were able to use our current vanity & sink to keep the cost down.) In the half bath they pulled the paneling off of the walls & discovered a heat vent & an opening already cut for a medicine cabinet.Yay! They resurfaced the drywall board & painted, installed a new medicine cabinet & mirror, and storage cabinet, made a granite look laminate counter and removable banjo and a new toilet & vanity & installed my previous sink and light fixture. I should also mention that they perfectly matched the new molding to the existing hardwood floor! It is better than we had hoped for. That room was ugly before!! In the main bath we had a diverter installed with new faucet/handle/shower head. In order for that to happen they had to change out the plumbing and make the repair while the whole was in the wall for working on the master bath since the plumbing is back to back. We found some extra ceramic floor tile in the garage and their expert tiler, Eric, did a great job placing it where he had to cut the other tile, which was a different size. It looks really good. He also tiled all of the master bath. The guy has amazing talent! John, the owner of SRI was on site everyday at some point, even if he wasn't working on something in our home. He and his crew treated our home with care as it it was their own, putting down drop cloths and tarps where needed and making sure they kept the doors closed when going in and out. They cleaned up every single night, including the work area in the garage! They have integrity, honesty, experience, professionalism, are friendly and enjoy their work! We will definitely hire them again if we have additional home improvement needs!

SRI provided the initial quote in late summer 12'.  I delayed a decision until end of the year and SRI was still competitively priced and seemed to have the most thorough quote (including identification of potential change orders).
The remodel included reglazing all wall tile and tub and looked fantastic.  Completely satisfied with job results.  Change orders were fairly priced by time and materials (as mutually agreed upon prior to work commencement).  Workers were clean and courteous.

The work turned out pretty good. The guy who owns the company has a brother who does the tile work and the tiles turned out awesome. Also, when there were things I didn’t like, they fixed it without any question. They were also very conscientious about their work.

SRI construction did a EXCELLENT job on replacing a leaking shower. 
John/Josh did a fantastic job on the entire job.  This was a secondary
story bathroom. John not only had to tear out the old bathroom shower
but then install the new shower kit. The new shower looks great and we
were very happy with the work performed.  We would like to thank
John/Josh an will pass on there name to other friends of ours.  For the
amount of worked perform it was well worth the price and workmanship.
John is very good about keeping the communication open.  Always ready to
answer any questions we had.

I bought the Angie's special deal for 4 hours for $149. John was very meticulous with his work. He did need over 6 more hours in addition to the 4 I had prepurchased to complete the primer and two coats of paint. That's why the total cost was about $1,000. The bathroom looks beautiful. He took special care around mouldings and window frames. He takes much pride in his work.

It was a good experience.  John is a very nice young man who did a great job!
