I would not recommend this contractor for even the smallest job. We hired them for a bathroom remodel, laying Pergo floor in our bedroom and ordering and installing Pella windows. Both the windows and the bathroom remodel were supposed to start in September and be done by Thanksgiving. However, by December 29th, when we ended our relationship with the company, it was still not finished. Between orders being placed incorrectly (including the Pella Windows), poor communication between the workers and management and several redos because work was done poorly, it was a nightmare. We had to go all the way up to the regional manager at Pella to force Artisian to redo the exterior of each of the 5 windows they installed. 
Once they had our 50% deposit, they began the 3.5 month fiasco by telling us they were behind on a basement they were finishing. Ultimately this put them over a month behind schedule at every phase of our project. The project manager advised we move out of our bedroom and everything out of our closets 3 weeks before it was necessary, which compounded the overall horrible experience. 
Unprofessionalism, excuses, and missed deadlines finally compelled us to terminate the relationship and just make a final payment. Though the final tweaks were not complete, we realized we'd rather pay someone else to finish than continue dealing with this company.

This was my worst experience with a contractor. We paid a lot of money (to us at least) to have them remodel our kitchen. The 4 week project took 12 weeks. Workers not only used my supplies (buckets, screwdrivers, etc.) but they walked out of the house with them. They subbed out the hardwood floors and the guy stained chunks of our carpet in a job that made me think they guy must have been drunk.

Now that winter is here I noticed they must not have properly insulated when they put in the hood because I have cold air blowing into my kitchen. Of course I have been contacting them for a month now and they have yet to find the time to stand by their work. In fairness, they were responsive to my complaints until they cashed my final check.

Run away from this company as fast as you can. I am kicking myself for choosing them but their saleswoman was very good and pulled a fast one on me.

The artistry and detail work of this company concerning our deck is fantastic. Artisian paid close attention to every detail and made certain we were fully satisfied with all aspects of the project. The workers were punctual, very kind and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves each day and were certain to keep things in order. We would definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to others.

Artisian Construction was a pleasure to work with in terms of estimating scope and cost of new deck. The construction of the new deck started on date promised and was completed in a timely manner. All work was done with great care and detail like they building a new deck at their own home. Overall a good experience with this builder and his staff.

I was appointed guardian for a gentlemen, at the court's request his house needed to be updated. I interviewed two other company's had bad experience with both of them, a builder friend suggested I give Artisian a call, best call I ever made, They could not have been more professional, always on time, cleaned up after them, any problem that arose during remodeling they always called first before any changes were made. They actually listen to what you say, they made suggestions that help save you money. They also helped with some things that was not part of their job.
Artisian, showed the difference between a company that takes pride in the work they do and the satisfaction of their clients over companies that only want to do the minimum for the maximum dollars .I highly recommend Artisian, this is the only company I will use. I am a Realtor and have passed their name on to all 26 agents in my office.

Our family has contracted with Artisian Construction before with mixed results. They did an awesome job replacing all our windows in 2010, and a good job refurbishing our deck a couple years ago. We called them (and got estimates from some other companies) to get our gutters replaced last summer (2013). They contracted the work for the gutters out (which was fine initally) but did not do all the and quot;prepand quot; work we asked for--needed boards replaced and painted before installing new gutters in. The new gutters went in over the old wood. The worst part is after we paid for the whole project, the owner Denny got in an argument with the subcontractors and didn't pay them, so they have taken out a lien against our house. We have tried repeatedly to get this resolved and it just isn't happening. We are upset that Artisian won't return our calls, and sad that we have recommended them to friends and family to use in the past. I can't believe they would let this happen (over maybe $1000 worth of work) after we have given them thousands of dollars of business over the years. We won't be using them again, and recommend that you don't either.

it was by far the most positive experience i have ever had with contractors. my bathroom looks beautiful, the cost so fair, and the contractors, Brian and Josh were the most professional, and efficient two men I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I work long hours and they always were there to assure i never missed work, and after they were finished not only cleaned up everything but swept out my garage. I would highly recommend this company. It was an a plus experience.

They did great. They were very reliable and Denni was great to work with. Did all that he said that he would and in the time frame that he promised. Would use again and definitely refer to others.
