This was a success.  G E Insulation, represented by Troy, was on time for the estimate for installation of insulation in the attic area of my condo, as well as the updating of all attic vents (3).  They provided me with a written estimate and then we scheduled the work to be done.  Estimated price was the final price, as there were no upcharges or add-ons.  They were true to their word on the cost.  The insulation in the attic had not been updated since 1973 and was upgraded from R19 to R38.  They blew in about 900 square feet of insulation and cleaned up everything.  I could not tell that they were even here.  They even brought their own vacuum.  In addition Troy provided all the documentation I needed to get a rebate from Consumer's Energy. Again a true success story!

I was very glad Troy check the walls before the work was started by taking off my light switch plates and found fiber glass in the second floor. He advised me not to blow in insulation on the second floor because it could damage my walls. He was very helpful finding rebates from local energy companies. He submitted all the forms for me and I received the check after the work was finished. The day after the work was finished, some of my insulation fell from my ceiling in the basement in one small area. He came out the next day and repaired it at no charge to me. There have been no problems since he came out.

These guys took really good care of us.  They showed real professionalism and moxy dealing with a terrible situation.  They showed up everyday, without gripes or sadness and proceeded to demo out our walls above and beyond what one would expect of an insulation company.
