Mark was extremely patient as I researched the Fujitsu Mini-Split system for my new addition.  He returned all my phone calls and emails in a very timely fashion and guided me to the best decision ever!  I love the unit and it works just as he described.  He arrived on time and was able to install the unit in mid February.  He was provided the wrong part and came back the next day with the right part and completed the job.  I have used him before and will use him again!  I highly recommend him to all.

Mark came in looked at the problem, Then gave us a quote to fix the problem. Yeah actually showed up about 20 minutes early to the job he completed the job in the allotted time that he said and he came in under budget About a month later I called him with a problem the furnace kept turning off after starting he spent two hours on the phone with me trying to diagnose the problem to help me get heat in my house for the night he then picked up the parts for the next day came out after starting work at 6 o'clock that morning did not arrive at my house until 7 o'clock that night and he spent two hours fixing the problem. I don't think you could ask for a more dedicated professional My wife and I would recommend platinum heating and cooling to anyone.

Our furnace crashed on us, We have a 3 and 1 year old. Our home got cold fast, We called EVERYONE, we even had "family/friend" businesses, and big chain store companies come out and give us estimates. I finally checked angieslist and Marks offer blew the lowest estimate out of the water by 850$. After reading reviews I purchased the same night. He reached me the next day(which was a sunday) He called me on monday and came out the same day to check everything out. He was beyond professional, I instantly knew I made the right choice. We scheduled, and he came a couple days later. He was on time, as was the person he brought to help. I felt like I had a family member in my house, he is personable, professional, and most importantly; honest. Every step of the way he came up to tell me what he was doing/how to work something. I was upstairs with my 2 kids, I almost forgot he was here multiple times, he worked very quickly. He always asked my permission before doing something, I can not explain how happy we are with our service. He is a A+ guy, with A+ work. Normally for a price that is far beats the competitors, you expect not as good work, or not as good equipment. But he far exceeded our expectations, same furnace as the big companies offered, same warranty for nearly half the price!There was so many things he did that he could have charged us for but didnt, he stayed over to fix our clogged gas line/gas. I highly highly recommend him. You will not find better, I guarantee it! Sorry for the late review Mark, our internet was down! Very well. I had run into Mark at a different location and we had a conversation about a furnace replacement that I needed to do. My 33 year old Heil furnace had a clogged heat exchanger and could not longer be safely used. He pointed out that he was running a special through Angie's list. His special offer a choice of either a Goodman or a Heil unit.   I did the research. I'd had good service with the old Heil unit and was leery of the Goodman. Reviews of the Goodman were somewhat mixed but most opinions boiled down to the quality of the installation. A well installed Goodman seemed as good as the higher priced units.  I went to Angie's list and clicked the "buy" button. Mark returned the e-mail the next day , called later in that day to set up an appointment to size the furnace and decide which brand to get.  The appointment was set for 6pm the next week.  Mark was at the houise before I arrived home from work. He reviewed size of the house and recommended a size suitable for my (small) house. My research showed that oversizing the unit can head to as many problems as undersizing it. I  made the choice of the Goodman based on the better ( longer) warranty offered on the heat exchanger. I will point out that length of the Goodman warranty depends on when the owner registers the unit- if one misses the cut-off the warranty is not as long. Mark made sure I was aware of  the registration requirement.
    We set the installation appointment for about 2 weeks later. On the appointed day, he called to confirm the time and arrived on time with two helpers. They set to work about 9am removing the old furnace. I left for work. He called shortly after 1PM to left me know that he had finished 95% of the installation and was cleaning up. He didn't have one small part  and would return later in the week to add the part. The missing piece would not affect the function of the new unit. 
out  When I got home, I checked the install visually. Nice and neat but a couple of small issues were tape joining the new furnace to the the old ductwork and not set properly. To my surprise, Mark has also replaced the copper gas line to the ware heater with black pipe- something not really part of the furnace install but an extra service as he preferred black to copper tubing for water heaters. The old furnace was gone new one in. He called to check my satisfaction. I told him about the tape issue. He told me He'd take care of it when he return to install the missing piece. He called a couple of days later to let me know that the missing part had arrived and we set a date for the return. He called the day of the return appointment to confirm the time
. He arrived on time, installed the missing piece and repaired the tape issues.
.Overall, I'm very pleased with the work. It's a much neater ( and  better) install than done on a similar furnace at my father's house by a different company.  That install has had a couple of  problems due to missing brackets on the exhaust pipe. Mine is firmly installed and can't shift. We've setting up an appointment to have Mark check that installation and correct the issues that  exist there.

Mark did a great job installing a new furnace and A/C unit for us. His work is very professional and he did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would recommend him to anyone.

*****FIVE STARS***** As expected Mark was perfect!!! I feel really bad as this is the second time that I have used Mark from PCH & C and for some reason, my FIRST review did NOT make it into his profile! I have been very ill for months and perhaps because I was so LATE getting it in, it was dismissed. I can't apologize enough to Mark for that, as he deserved a GREAT review after the FIRST time he serviced my AC unit. Once again...he came thru for me in a pinch, AGAIN, when because of lack of attention to my filters, etc., my AC just STOPPED on the hottest day of the year!!! And of course, Mark was there for me!!! Not only did he fix the problem asap, but then charged me an EXTREMELY reasonable charge afterwards! Because I am a single female who has been taken advantage of on several occasions by shifty mechanics and techs of different kinds, it is so important to be able to TRUST the folks you rely on to fix your car....your tv\pc...and your FURNACE\AC UNIT!! MARK IS THAT PERSON!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN MARK, for all your help and understanding !!! You are the best!! ? The KING!!

It went really well. The work was accomplished all in one day, and with no interruptions to my daily household doings. Mark is very personable and explains things really well. He is a great communicator and responds to phone calls and emails and Angie's List messages quickly. Everything from the basement work on the furnace to the outdoor work on the air conditioner was left clean and tidy. I believe the price was more than fair for the equipment installed and the amount of time and work Mark and his helper put in. Furthermore, he had to travel quite a way from his base in Sand Lake down here to Allegan - and he came twice, once for the quote and again for the installation a mere 6 days later.  I would highly recommend him and will call him back if I need anything more in his area of expertise, like electrical or plumbing work. 

Did great work. I contacted him through Angie's list was prompt in returning messages, gave professional opinion withou a sales pitch, final number was right in line with estimate, contacted me during job to authorize work needed on a/c after inspection. Straightforward, reasonable price, an excellent service.

Mark called ahead of time and told me he was on the way.  He arrived on time and I explained what I needed and he got right to work.  He took the time and found a couple leaks and made sure that this job was done right once and for all.  It was so refreshing to have someone come on time, perform all the required work and be reasonably priced.  He appeared to be very honest and did not do any unnecessary work.  I trust him and will be using him for future heating/cooling jobs!

Our Central air started acting up last year at the end of the season (Freezing up) - come spring heat and it decided not to cool at all.
Called Mark and left a message at 8am Monday morning. He called back around 10am, said he could be by between noon and 1pm.
He called when he was 45 minutes away, arrived a little early (always a good thing)
When we checked in the basement, I was a little embarrassed to see how dirty the air filter was - Mark was very nice about it, and helped install a clean one.
With the system running, he added the coolant. Very cool - the sound of the compressor changed as the charge reached the correct level. It was down about 2.6 lbs.
Mark explained that the effort to identify the leak wasn't likely worth the cost at this point, and estimated the refill should last a season or two.
Mark was very friendly and informative. Didn't try to upsell or push unnecessary services. The price was very fair.

Called and he came out the same day. The central air unit wasn't working, he repaired it and put in a new thermostat, and also serviced the furnace. Very satisfied, we would definitely recommend this company.

Mark was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and explained everything to me as he worked.  He provided excellent service at a reasonable price.

Mark and his assistant arrived on time and got right to work, like a "well oiled machine".  They are friendly, courteous, and genuinely good people. They put down floor protection and left the area spotless when the job was finished.  When all was said and done, my only regret was the time I wasted gathering other estimates.  With Platinum Choice, I have a great new furnace, expertly installed, and at a very fair price. Mark's years of experience are obvious in his thorough knowledge of all things related to heating and cooling.  Quite impressive.  I appreciated his patience and willingness to explain various installation options, and trust his recommendations.  I am very pleased, and feel like my furnace woes are over with for a long, long time.  Yay!  I would highly recommend this company to anyone with any sort of heating/cooling needs.

 Mark the owner came out within a few hours of my call.  He inspected and found the problem.  Temporarily got the furnace going again and provided me with multiple options for a permanent resolution ranging for simple repair to a more complex upgrade to not just fix problem but additional equipment that could save me money in the future.  I opted for a middle solution which he provided a firm quote and we scheduled the job and he was right there on time, did a wonderful job.

We was fast and thorough.  The price quoted was the price paid.  It included everything.  "Out the Door" is the way I like it.

Not only would I use him again, I will refer him to everyone looking for a great heating and cooling guy.
