The installation was rather easy and I didnt have to wait overly long.. They have been providing decent service ever since, but they keep increasing the price it seems. I started that out and about $60/ mo. 2 years ago and now I'm up to $80/month. :(. I dont get more than a few basiic

All's well that ends well. Normally internet installs are straightforward in my opinion, but this particular apartment (or complex) was quirky. However the service guy was very helpful and he went out of his way to locate the appropriate switches/junction boxes to give us our service promptly.

Reliable service once the bugs of the appt. schedule were ironed out. Serviceman was very polite and professional even came up with a way to prevent us from being charged with a service call. He went out of his way to come up with a solutionn

Whenever there's an issue regarding a price increase, or a rebate not received, we really get the run-around when calling. They act like we knew the price would increase, and unless we threaten to cancel, they usually won't budge. When you're paying around $200/month for service, and the attitude is constantly one of "we know you don't really have other options" it makes us consider dropping cable (which we've done in the past). Will we continue to use them? Certainly for internet (as they do have the best service in our area), but the cable is always on the chopping block. I wish they didn't have such a monopoly.

They are unprofessional, we have no choice and must use their services. It is the worst customer service, ever!

It went horrible. Our bill went up each month, and when the bill was reviewed we saw new charges and fees.

They overcharge for it since there are no equal competitors in the area - or the nation - and I am astounded they have managed to pass thru anti-trust committees.  Their phone service is not as prompt as it should be for a company this well funded, nor do their agents do much beyond read a script.  The agents are friendly and professional, but not very useful. Additionally they tried to charge us over $100 to fix a clamp on their cable coming into our house - as if weather damage is my fault, and a technician paid to be on call costs them any money, and a $5 part that allows them to continue charging me $60/month for my internet should be my cost to bear. Truly - Truly - Truly they are way overpriced. We stopped paying for their cable service, got an AppleTV and a Netflix subscription, and haven't looked back.

It took seven phone calls to get the label/box. Took the morning off work for the appt. (8-11).  No call, no show. I called at 11:30 to find out the ETA. Was told the tech had been there and no one was home. I asked what time, they said 10:30.  Well I was in the front yard at that time.  No Comcast trucks were even in the neighborhood. Rescheduled. Took another morning off work-again, 8-11.  No call no show.  I called at 10 this time for ETA. Said 11. Ok no problem.  Called throughout the day for ETA-always told about half an hour. . No show.  At 5pm I called again. requesting ETA.  They said I had canceled.  No I didn't.  I lost two day's wages and on the next bill I was charged for two service calls that didn't happen.  They refused to reverse them until I threatened them with calling an attorney and reporting them to the FCC and the Utility Commission.

Service has become less reliable with start of Infinity.  Picture often pixelates or loses volume intermittently.
On Demand is evolving from a "free on demand" to a "buy or rent On Demand" service.  Recommend Netflix instead.
Last time prices were raised, it was > $50.00/month, without notice!
If you try to cancel a service in a bundle, you will be charged for the remaining price at the same high rate as the bundle you're trying to get out of.
Last time I needed an "over the internet" change made, they refused to make it unless I plugged in and used the VoIP number they assigned me.
My internet page "broke" and they won't or don't know why or how to fix it.  Subsequently, I have to pay my bill by calling and can no longer use the convenience of online bill payment.
When I'm working at night, I notice a significant degradation in the speed of their high-speed cable service.

Arrived on time. Pricey plans but there's pretty much no other provider that offers consistent, reliable speeds in the area.

I use Comcast because there is only one choice for cable in my area.  The service works for the most part, but when there are issues, plan on either taking a day off from work and paying for a technician to come to your home, or else going to the service center and waiting 1hour+ in a long line to get your equipment swapped out.  Recently my internet service was dropping so frequently that I'd finally had enough and decided to call them.  They said it was because the network had been upgraded and I needed a new cable modem.  They said I'd have to come in to the office or pay to have a technician come out to swap it.  So drive 30min away to get the equipment, bring it home, then call in to the call center and walk through a bunch of steps to get it activated -- not a really good customer service experience.
Basically when the service works, it works well, and it's the best option in town because it provides better services than what you can get from AT&T and the Satellite companies.  But when it doesn't work, it can be a real challenge getting things fixed.  The price also sneaks up on you and goes over $200 before you know it, so be sure to call in every 6 months or so and say you want to cancel so they'll put you on another promotion to keep you as a customer.

The technician arrived shortly after 2:00pm (window was 2-4pm).
My new home was not wired for cable/internet/phone.
We discussed the installation, I described what I wanted, he made suggestions.
He hooked up the outside box, ran cable to my home, hooked up all equipment, returned my old equipment.
The new setup worked great. I now have fantastic internet speeds, cable TV is great, and my phone* works ok.
*PHONE: Although the technician was great, Comcast changed my phone number (due to moving to a different city) without notifying me. Also, when calling my OLD number, the pre-recorded message was incorrect . . ."The number you called <OLD NUMBER> has been changed. The new number is <OLD NUMBER>." I now have to contact all of my friends and family to give them the new number. I spent a day on the phone with Comcast trying to get the recording changed. They transferred to me to about 4 different departments, with the last department dropping the call. Each time I call back, I went through the same 'transfer' scenario again, only to be dropped by the last department. Once, I was transferred to the 'Cable' department for my 'phone' problem.
My technician gets an A- rating for his part of the transfer.
Comcast gets a D for their incompetence.

For the past month comcast has been routing my traffic through a proxy server in Canada.  I live in Michigan therefore I cannot stream movies or do stuff that requires me to ping from US.  I have called them 20 times.  I have been given the run around.  They tried to convince me I had malware.  They promised to escalate three times and that I would get a call back.  Never happened.
Google this and you will see others complaining about the same thing.
They suck.

The price seems very reasonable to me. I would say that they do as good a job as I do. I wrote an email to them to thank them for how well they did and they ended up using it in their flyer.

I don't have a problem with them. They only problem we have was with the line itself and they came out and fixed it at no charge to us. The fixed the cable from the house to the yard. I have been using them for a long time.
