Had someone out the day after calling for a quote. Work was scheduled for the following Monday. Crew showed up on time and did a great job for the ground conditions which due to the plugged tile was near swamp conditions.. Crew was friendly and answered my questions very professionally. Over all I was pleased with the work.

Carlos (install) and Mike (equipment operator) did a great job with the excavation and installation of my new drain line under the direction of Tom Allen (Allen's Sewer & Drain Line Services). The guys showed up right on schedule early in the morning in December, which deserves credit in and of itself. The were very friendly, worked efficiently and had the trench opened, main line replaced, city-inspected and trench re-filled all within about 3 hours. This was all for a VERY reasonable price. I'd happily recommend them to anyone or use them again (although I REALLY hope I don't have to!).

I am the neighbor of the home where the service occurred, where the seller is institutionalized and the buyer and bank agreed on something that ended up having a negative effect on my property. The service was also inadequate on the subject property. The older house next door (by Health department rules) could not sell without a proper septic tank and field. It had used an old cistern for years. (We did not know this illegal installation was there until the owners were institutionalized and a realtor tried to sell it for them.) The home stood vacant for over a year and the price was lowered. Finally someone decided to purchase it and I'm not quite sure who actually paid for the excavation. The excavation took place while I was away but I saw it when I returned. There was a new roadway to the back yard under the branches of my tree that is very large and old. It extends its branches over the neighbor's yard and roots under it's soil. It provides both beauty and shade to the old home. This route was how they carried sand and gravel for the new grain field. Compaction of soil is a known reason that trees die. The excavator told me that the tree would be just fine, but I know better and I think he needs to be held accountable. There is nothing that can be done now except wait and see. It sometimes takes years for a tree to finally succumb to such damage. I wish a better plan had been made, but the excavator was unconcerned. His work was unsatisfactory in other ways too. He didn't install any silt fences as you are supposed to, and the site is steeply sloped at the edge of the Grand River. The trees on the owner's property are scraped on the bark due to his ineptitude. I have photos of all of this. Silt fences are for the specific purpose of restraining soil that moves away from where it is placed. The excavator also buried debris like large rocks and trees. This poses a problem later when the owner wants to make a lawn. You aren't supposed to do that when you develop a site. On this site, the house was in bad condition, and the only good thing about it was the site, which this excavator damaged. It doesn't have to be this way.

.My septic tank was quite overdue for service and I needed to have it
pumped before winter --despite the face  that there were already 6 inches of snow on
the ground.  They arrived on time,   did the work in a professional manner and gave me advice about the need for future service.
.The people in the office and the man who did the job were polite and professional.

We called Hunt after the Ball Septic failed to show up.  Hunt responded first thing the next day, arrived on time, and completed the job very efficiently.  Both the office staff and the technician were very professional.  I liked that he explained the issues we had and answered my questions.  The final bill was $80 less than the same service from that other company 5 years ago!

Very professional and helpful crew. They hustled to get to my place in what essentially was an emergency because my whole sewer system broke down, inside and outside.

Received prompt, courteous call back when I left a message, all 3 times I called. The price quoted was price charged. I don't live at the property so I wasn't there when they pumped it out. It was done the day they said. They mailed me a bill and accepted credit card payment by phone. I am pleased they will send a reminder the next time they think it might need done. No complaints. Friendly staff. Happy to do business with them again.

They were fine. The experience was good. My husband was the one who arranged their service so I’m not sure why he chose that company and what his requirements were over the others. However, they were prompt and very courteous. They knew what they were doing and they laid out all the expenses out front so we knew how much exactly it will cost for the uncovering of the lead. If you want to do it yourself, you could. But if you don’t want to do it yourself, you know how much it will cost you. They are very thorough in letting you know how much it will cost before you actually book the service.
They were right here when they said they will be.

Guys were great. Had to dig through snow and frozen soil to find the tank. But they did it. We had a 1000 gal tank serviced. It was full. Family of three. First service in the 5 years we have lived there. Pricey.

It went as planned. The crew was 20 minute late than the schedule. Then the electrical wire from the house to the backyard shed was damaged, and we were told that they are not responsible to the private line. While we understood that it might be the general practice, we were not happy in the fact that we were not asked about where our private lines were before the digging. They didn't thoroughly examine the surroundings, but just assumed that everything was overhead. In fact, the electrical conduit on the sidewall of the house was clearly visible, and tracing along that wire could lead to the observation that the wire went underground to the backyard. The focal point is that we were not asked about the private lines before they dug. They refused to share the responsibility of the wire damage.
Other than that, the crew did a good job in replacing the sewline, and it works well so far.

Awful. The initial dig was not deep enough espeacially on the north east section of the house. Frames for the cement were higher than the original grass in that area. He ripped loose the bottom of the back door frame and crumpled up my vinyl siding in that area. A stone flower section was cracked apart and the front side of it was left angled off diagonally by at least 40 degrees from the rest of the structure. None of this was fixed in the end. He left pieces of cement 12and quot; by 20and quot; grated in the dirt with in 4 to 10 and quot;s of the new walk which we had to remove because they were stickiing up out of the ground. My yard was torn up in several places even 15 feet away from the walk. When he was supposidly done he hadn't even grated any dirt in the NE corner closest to my kitchen. The ht. difference made it seem like a mini built in pool. This is also an area where my rain spouts empty. The ground he did get in by the walk was so hardly packed I spent hours and hours using a tiller to try to work it up to plant grass. He also left huge piles of dirt undermy bushes. His work was poor and shame on Richard Cornwell who subcontracted him for not following up on his work.

Also I had to have 2 truck loads of top soil brought in to decrease the sharp grade in the NE corner of the yard so we would not tip off our rider mower in that section not popperly dug down in the 1st place. I never thought my children and I would have to put in more physical work time than these guys did on

It went well, but not as easy as we had hoped. The idea was that a trench would be cut into the yard for the line and then filled in. However, when they got the trench cut, it started to cave in because of the sandy soil. As a result they had to tear up the entire yard! Our neighbors were astonished that they dug up the entire yard and put it all back before we got home from work at 5:30. We had some small trees and bushes that we wanted to save and the crew carefully remved them, and placed them back with the return of the dirt. In addition, the crew was worried that they would have to cut into the street (another two grand!), but they worked really hard to get to the last section of pipe, under the street, and connected to that. There is no doubt that this was a tougher job then they anticipated, but the final bill was right on with the estimate. It is rare that I am pleased with work that is done on our house that I have not done myself. I am thrilled with this job and will recomend G A Hunt to anyone needing this service. On top of the great work that they have done, they have offered to come back in the spring to grade the lawn so that it is ready to seed. I don't think they will have to come out though, because they did such a great job putting everything back the first time!
