Window Service
Great experience! I had had a few of the vinyl windows replaced on my house by WindowMasters (shifty-since gone out of business), and when I saw how easy it was I decided to do the rest myself and cut the cost in half. The only thing I didn't think of was the flashing on the outside that matches the siding and covers up the old weatherbeaten wood trim. WindowMasters wouldn't come out and trim them out because they didn't install them, and I couldn't find anyone who would, so the windows remained looking haggard and mis-matched for a couple years. Then one day while out for a run, I passed a crew doing siding on a garage in the neighborhood. I stopped to talk to them in the hopes that they'd come by and trim out my windows for a little extra cash. Long story short, they came by and estimated the job and did great work. They're a family business and have a great work ethic, and they were able to match the siding.
