I called Norm's for service and Rob came out the next morning. He was on time, professional, courteous and had it fixed within 20 minutes. We couldn't be happier with his service. We will be using Norm's Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. Thank you!

Norm answered our call right away, and scheduled for the next day.  He was wonderful, and his sons were hard workers and went right to work on the problem.  They did more than we expected, by completely installing our new vanity and hardware.  They were prompt in arrival, did a beautiful job, and left things clean and tidy.  We were very comfortable with Norm and his boys and it was a pleasure doing business with them.  We felt that they were priced more than fair and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Did everything quick and right in less than an hour or so.

Everything went great.  The guys were very efficient and professional.

Our sump pump quit. Norm called back within thirty minutes and made an appointment for 3 hours later. He was here on time, with a new sump pump and a helper. He was efficient and showed care for keeping the area clean. He was done within an hour. The total bill was $350 and he took a personal check for payment. He was pleasant and professional. I would certainly recommend him and use his services again.

Honest, clean, professional and very much up to the task. I will never go anywhere else.

Norm's helper did most of the work on replacing the bathroom sink; Norm was his helper and instructor ; Norm also spent some time alone in trying to repair a leaky shower faucet in another bath but did not have the right part in his truck to fix it .
I would not use Norm again for a few reasons:
and gt; He didnt have the right part on his truck to replace that on the shower faucet. He could have gone the the nearby bldg supplier for the part while his helper was working on the sink but didnt. I didnt care at the time since he said he would return with the right part in a few days -- but he didnt.
I showed him a couple of other jobs that he could do when returning so that he would be paid for his time and so that the return trip would put some money in his pocket. But after 3 follow-on calls by me and 3 conversations with him , he has not returned as he promised and so the shower faucet is leaking a little more than it did before and now it is a lot harder to turn on/of than before he touched it.
I'm very surprised and disappointed that he left me with this problem and didnt even show me the courtesy of of a phone call and an explanation. I can only guess that he has so much work now that he's and quot;runningand quot; and that he just let my uncompleted repair and my new repair work and quot;dropand quot;. ( He told me when working here that his schedule was hectic -- and he did have a lot of phone calls during his time at my house.)
I dont know why he hasnt finished the job that he was paid for nor returned to do the new work that I talked with him about -- but I do know this is not the way to treat someone who's already paid you in full , including payment for the faucet repair that ISNand quot;T.
and gt; At $250 , I think his charge of $250 was high since his helper did almost all of the installation alone. Norm was just looking on and instructing the helper most of the time.
( Norm said he 'd knock off $30 if I paid in cash, but even $220 seems a little high for mainly a one man job just replacing / mounting this new sink and for changing the shut off valves to it.)
I've already found another plumber who comes well recommended by a number of our friends in the neighborhood, and I'm glad that I learned Norm wasnt reliable, responsible and and quot;up-frontand quot; before asking him to do the remaining , more difficult plumbing jobs that I have.
Previously, I 've given great reviews here for the fine svc and work i've recved fm Family Heating, BCM Roofing, Dan's Reglazing and others. This is the first time I've had a company from Angie's that's been a problem for me and hasnt completed the work as promised.

I thought the price was reasonable. He fixed the problem with the sump pump a year or so before that for $15 whereas the other plumbers were just installing new pumps. He came over and installed a new toilet seat for me because I couldn't get the old one off. You call him up and he's very responsive and he's usually there the day that you call. He works by himself and he is a master plumber.
He's the type of person, I've found him to be very honest. He didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. The fact that he found the problem with the sump pumps which was not really a sump pump problem but a valve problem and it cost $15 just really reassured me that he was honest because he could have just sold me another sump pump. I wouldn't have known the difference.

When i first called, Norm called me back within 15 minutes or less. He was a couple hours later than I thought he would be but when I called him again, he responded to my call immediately and said he was on
his way. When he got here, he was professional, polite and knew
exactly what was going on once I described what happened. He brought
his own bucket to bail the sink and worked quickly. It took just a short
time for him to snake the drain and the sink was working fine after
that. The cost was not as much as I thought it would be. I would use
him again and refer him.

Norm did a nice job on the toilet install. He was on time and was very efficient. I would use him again.

He was easy, thoughtful, prompt, clean and neat. I can not say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him.

Norm is polite and hardworking. He uses shoe covers and cleans up afterwards. His honest approach is a breath of fresh air!

I had on going problem with a leak. Norm resoled the problem on time and on budget. He even offered to let me contact the manufacturer so that I wouldn't have to purchase the replacement part. Norm did the work in the evening to accommodate my schedule. I am very happy with the results and the excellent manner in which the service was provided.

Excellent service! My sump pump went out and flooded the basement with the recent rains melting all the snow. I called 3 other plumbing services who were either all booked or some didn't even have voicemail. I left a VME and 20 minutes later received a call back. Service call was booked for the same day. I was provided a courtesy call because they were running 30 minutes late because of all the other sewer, sump pump calls. Very much appreciated. When Norm arrived, he was very professional, provided immediate estimate after taking a look at my existing sump pump. I agreed and was amazed he completed the entire job in 15 minutes. Will definitely recommend this service to family and friends in the Macomb area. No more worries about a flooded basement. Thanks a lot Norm!
