Had cracking that was becoming a tripping hazard, workers were very nice, owner was very nice. New cement for driveway was starting to crack by February However I was told that the cracking in the cement had reoccurred from the cold winter. The cracking was pretty much in the same place, look at the pictures make your own conclusions. I have contacted him numerous times beginning in February, and he simply is too busy for me.

August-December2020 My relationship with integrity started off amazing. During August of the Pandemic, they were the only company to arrive quickly at my residence, meet with me, and have a very reasonable quote of $6800 to me that evening. The price was for the construction of a poured 19X8 exposed aggregate porch. I also was happy to work with a company that I thought was apart of my city as I prefer to use businesses in my community. The owner Amadio Payne informed me that work would begin at the beginning of October with a $3000 deposit. This worked out great for me as I was having foundation work done the last week in September. While the city inspector was out to inspect my foundation work he asked many questions about the footings for this new porch I was gonna have built. After informing Amadio of this his reply was simply “your porch doesn’t need footings.” which I assumed was correct and that would all be taken care of when he turns in the permit application to the city. In October the issues began. After being very communicative at the beginning of our contract Amadio became more and more difficult to contact. Often days would go by before any response. A few days before Halloween a team arrived from Percon solutions. Apparently, this was integrity’s partner company. They were there to form the porch. Once again after a chat with Amadio Payne and his partner Antonio Lulgjuraj from Percon I was told I didn’t need footings that my concrete was gonna be floating to move with the seasons. After they left their team to get to work I had a conversation with what I would assume was the Forman of the crew. I simply asked how long has he been working with concrete. His reply was over 30 years. Amazing I thought, I’ve got an expert forming my porch. My next question was “Why don’t I need footings?” His reply wasn’t that shocking. “You need footings at least 24inch deep, but don’t tell my Boss I told you.” (I feel awful exposing this man as he was a very hard worker and the a great leader of this team.) This leader actually had his team start to dig partial footings which I appreciated. I quickly called my city, to find that there WAS NOT a permit pulled for my property. The inspector came out a few days later to stop work until a permit was approved. After I was given the excuse that Amadio thought I had turned in the permit application he was quick to turn one in himself, yet Integrity’s name wasn’t on it, but Percon solutions. It took 3 weeks for the city to deny the application. Their reason was NO FOOTINGS and No brick face. Yet Amadio said, “...the fact that the city denied YOUR plan is not MY problem I did not design your porch I will have to have my Mason come out and figure out...” I did give Amadio a 3D image of a porch I wanted. An image is hardly an Architectural design which is why I hired a professional. On December 2nd I had to terminate our contract through email, almost 4 months from when I signed it. At the time of this review on December 4th Amadio has yet to respond. In my opinion, Amadio lacks the organizational skills, leadership, and most importantly integrity to keep his customers happy.

After calling over a dozen concrete companies, Amadio was the only one who returned my call. He provided me an estimate on September 14th & had job professionally completed within 3 weeks, with our lovely Michigan weather to deal with. He was prompt & communicated with me through the whole process. I would definitely recommend Integrity Construction & Concrete Inc for your concrete job!!

Integrity Construction and Concrete does not live up to their name, Integrity. I would not recommend this company at all for a patio. The work that they did was some of the poorest concrete I have ever seen. There are many issues that we had with the company but the largest issue is they incorrectly graded the patio and there is water pooling on the patio right outside our door and along the house. The finish of the patio is also extremely poor and very rough. I have seen do it yourself concrete work that looks better than this. We immediately called the owner to discuss it and he recommended widening the saw cuts to allow for proper drainage and as for the finish he said that’s just how white concrete looks. However, I’ve never seen a sidewalk or a driveway look as rough as this patio. After numerous emails back and forth with the owner he agreed to remove and replace the patio within two weeks. At the end of the second week, we reached out to verify he would be out the next week to remove the patio and he stated that they were backed up but would get us on the schedule. At the end of the 2nd week we asked to be placed on the schedule prior to the end of the month. The response back was he was in complete disagreement on tearing out the patio but would do it as a courtesy to us but would not state when he would get it done. We have been waiting 4 weeks now and any time it rains we have a giant 4 foot wide 1inch deep puddle right outside our patio door and also have the unsightly finish to look at.

Mike and his team did an AWESOME job landscaping our new construction home. Mike gave us a complimentary design 3D image of our home plan and was able to recommend solutions to any changes I requested with very little direction. Integrity landscaping was timely, high-quality service and an absolute delight to work with. We were rejected by two landscapers for our project not being "high budget" enough and Mike gave us what we were looking for at a reasonable price. Even when we had to ask for an extra 10 foot tree due to our home owner's association requirements we had misunderstood, Mike agreed and will be installing it separately. I don't think a lot of landscapers would be willing to be that flexible during peak season. Our lot is also on a challenging location with a hill, making water pressure a nightmare for watersprinklers, but Mike gave us the solutions we needed to have a functioning watersprinkler system. Everything looks beautiful and all our neighbors think we broke our bank over such a beautiful landscaping job, and while it wasn't cheap it wasn't unreasonable like the other landscapers. We will definitely be using Integrity landscaping in the future because they live up to their name!
