Landscaping
DO NOT hire this landscape Company irrespective of "his" so-called credentials.
Had to call him several times to find out start date.
Showed up and began job while I was at work which was against agreement.
Installed plants and DID not provide NEW topsoil and grade properly against foundation.
Did not deliver and install LARGE landscape stone per quote.
Did not professionally install landscape edging.
Did not install/screw joints together to prevent separation.
Did not install and supply adequate amount of landscape stone.
Did not install and use Professional grade landscape cloth.
Did not install French Drains per specification.
Needless to say, I had to re-do 85% of this expensive job because my landscape plants died within 2 years due to improper soil conditions around foundation, improper drainage, and overall a very unprofessional installation from someone who is supposed to be a CERTIFIED Nurseryman. Go figure. I had shoulder surgery that year and could not do the work myself. If I had known about the Bad REPUTATION of this guy, I would have never hired him and wish Angie's List would have been around at that time. So, if YOU are interested in obtaining services of a good landscape professional -- Stay away from this guy in Saginaw-Birch Run - Bay City, MI area. Besides -- I do have pictures to prove all of my claims as noted above.... and NO response from River Valley to make it right with me... Send me an email and I will send you pictures of DEAD landscaping plants showing bad earth grading - bad soil - and overall a very POOR job.
