Jack's Tree Service

Jack's was very quick to complete the work after providing the estimate. They removed everything and cleaned up the work site. They did a great job and I would hire them again.

They were punctual, performed the work, and to remove a section of fence to get to the trees, that they then put back in place when the job was complete. Made a special trip back to make sure the stump holes had enough dirt in them.

The guys were excellent. Arrived on time, were professional, and left the job site very clean. They got right to business and were very organized as to who did what part of the job.

The crew was very competent and professional. The bucket crew worked carefully — the roof was below some of the branches, as was the front porch and railing, the mail box, and sidewalks. They managed to miss all of those. Even though they were careful they were very fast, I couldn’t believe they got that huge tree down in about 3 hours. They cleaned up nicely and later another crew came to grind the stump and cover the lawn scars with dirt and they did a good job too. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend them.

A diseased silver maple was removed from my front lawn. The work was done by a very good crew - professional, etc. Clean up was excellent. A secondary crew came for stump removal, which was so large it took a while, even with the large machinery used. Again, clean up was excellent. Fill dirt was added so all I had to do was plant grass seed. I have used this firm several times. Last year Jack's removed a very large TOP limb from my backyard ash tree and finished off by trimming any other dead branches. They had to CLIMB since large machinery (IE cherry pickers etc) would not fit through my fence's gate. Excellent overall job and my tree is back in good looks/health. A few years ago they removed several trees from my backyard - again no cherry pickers could be used. One year I had them trim/shape an older crabapple tree to keep it healthy and looking good. This job was small, but took patience and a more delicate hand to give the crabapple the "umbrella" shape. Every time, the work has been excellent, the crews professional and the prices both fair and competitive. Work is done when I need it, not just "when they can get around to it". I consider this type of work a danger to both property and lives if not done by workers who really know their profession since it's climbing, large pieces of trees and power saws/shredders, etc. I don't bother calling any other company since I know Jack's do excellent work at a fair price, stand behind their work, and are bonded/insured.

Jack's Tree Service was here the same day we called to give us a quote. They removed and hauled away the tree two days later. They did a very good cleanup. The next week they returned and took out the stump. They cleaned up nicely this time, too.

Not well. John was much too aggressive for my taste, so I did not hire him!

I called for an estimate and someone came within a few days. I called the office on a Friday to tell Jack's that I would like to have them remove the tree . They came and took down the tree the following Monday. They were very quick, did a nice clean up job, removed the stump completely and filled the hole with dirt. The yard looks great. Fast service, great job!

They did a great job and did it quickly. They had numerous trucks and workers doing the job. The only problem we had was that when one of the trees came down it fell on our sidewalk and cracked the concrete. The workers did not report the problem but when we called the company Jeff apologized numerous times and said that they would have it fixed by a concrete company. Within a few days someone had come out to mark the section to be replaced. We have used this company for two years and has been our only mishap. We will continue to use this company in the future. We actually already have decided to take out a few more trees. Jeff, who gave us the bids, was always professional and very knowledgeable on the services. He also advised us on some trees that we may want to cut down later. Thanks!

Did a great job removing tree, and also eliminated stump. Guys do a great job and were very professional. They had to remove fence to be able to get to the tree and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

They did a great job as always and I've used them multiple times. They are always fantastic. They're on time, give fair estimates, they do incredible work and they're in and out of here without a mess. Their price is fair.

They always do a really good job. They do their best not to damage your yard, any surrounding trees or bushes or flowers. They clean up when they are done and don't leave a mess behind. They are careful in their job. I'm going to have them back in a couple of months. They are pricier than others, but I can rely on them. They've always showed up when they said they would.

Was very impressed with how quickly they were able to give me an estimate. They then came and did the work the day AFTER I got the estimate! Very pleased. They took all the trimmed branches, etc. with them, so I was not left with a mess to dispose of. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Very responsive. They contacted me within a short time after I sent initial inquiry via Angie's list to arrange to come out and survey my front yard. The following Monday, the crew was there and had the tree cut down and completely broken down within 20 minutes. Very will done.

The representative from Jack's Tree Service showed up a few minutes late for the estimate but they weren't too far behind. I received a courtesy call from the main office that the estimator was on his way. The estimator was cordial. I felt the price was reasonable for the work they would be doing so I did not get any other estimates. The estimator advised the work could be done sometime in the next two weeks and the office would let me know what day. I did not receive a call notifying me when they would arrive. The crew that arrived was not overly professional i.e. they were smoking in the backyard and one employee put his cigarette out on my deck. They did not leave any butts to be cleaned up. The actual work was great. They even took some additional piles of yard debris that were raked up and ran them through the shredder. The next day an employee arrived with the stump grinder and removed 3 of the stumps as I requested. All in all a good experience and I will contact them again in the future for any of this type of work.

Couldn't have been better. When they left, the trees were trimmed and my driveway looked as if no one had ever been there. They even cleaned up a small pile of brush/limbs from another part of my yard. Very courteous and nice guys!

I called at 1 pm to get a quote. By 6 pm, both trees were removed and both properties were cleaned completely. Great service at a very good price.

They came at afternoon around 2pm and finished removing the tree before 3pm. They chopped all branches and leaves. A fast and efficient job!

Because of shear winds, a large tree branch landed on our roof. The entire tree was split and dangerous. I had used Jack's Tree Service for my orchard trees and had liked their professionalism. This time it was for a large ash tree that split in the winds. I called in the morning and someone came out that same morning, gave us an estimate so we had information for our insurance company, and later the same afternoon the tree was off the roof and ground up. Because the ground was soft, they put down boards to lessen lawn damage. There was some, but all was cleaned up, new dirt put down, and leveled. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them highly. The crew that worked were very professional, and were very conscious of our property and minimizing any damage from their equipment. We were very pleased with the results.

Jacks Tree Service was great. I called on a Friday and we had received an estimate later that day. I confirmed that I accepted the estimate on the following Monday. They arrived on Wednesday and the trees were gone within an hour. They did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. They then arrived on Thursday to grind down the stumps which was done in a matter of minutes. Overall curtious and thorough service. A pleasure working with them.

Jack's Tree Service always does a splendid job. It was pretty inexpensive. They do a complete job, it does not look like they have ever been there once they have taken care of the problem.
