I called three companies for service call prices and approx. schedule. I decided to use Dan Billy based on this and other reviews here on Angies list. The technician (Thomas) called me to ask if I was available for an earlier day and time. After a struggle to remove the oven from wall, which was due to an improper original install, he diagnosed the problem. After explaining all my options(some parts are discontinued), he proceded to reinstall the oven correctly and charged me a price that was less than the quoted price. Great price and great service from a very knowlegable professional!

He was prompt, gave us the bad news that our dryer wasn't worth repairing because it would be costly and he couldn't guarantee it would continue working. His rate for the visit and diagnosis was much less than we expected. Would call him again!

Our dryer had been squealing for a few days. Called Dan Billy Service on my lunch hour - asked which day he could come in the afternoon so I'd only have to take a half day off work. He asked what time I got out of work - 4:30 - so he had me call when I got home and he came out the same day! He thought knew what the problem was but checked other things to be sure. He was right - it was the idler pulley. Then he also looked at my dehumidifier and made a simple repair for no extra charge. Very polite and considerate. I will definitely use this service again and recommend to friends.

Once he came out, he advertised his 10-day service and our refrigerator had died. He came out 10 days. He is reasonable. He did what he said he would do. The refrigerator works fine.

He came the same day I called him. He was really great and friendly. The price was good. He could have charged more, but he showed me a way to fix my problem without buying expensive parts. I appreciate the option.

He quickly found the dishwasher problem and also the microwave problem. He was here the same day we called him and was very pleasant and professional. I don't remember what he charged, but not unhappy with it.
