Doyle Pools was very professional. Patrick has the ability to creatively solve problems and get the job done right.. He really knew what he was doing. Good value for the money. They cleaned up nicely. Great follow up and communication as well.

Project start was Oct 2016: If ZERO stars were an option, I would. Please save yourself a whole lot of time and worry and do not use Doyle Pools, in my opinion this is anything but a professional company. I can best described it as a one man show with a Craigslist labor crew. His name is Pat Doyle, ask the major pool suppliers in the area about him as well. They are happy to share, wish I would have first. At the time of my project I found out that his business license is expired through the state (Per state website: Status: AUTOMATIC DISSOLUTION Date: 7-15-2014). He has since recently renewed his business license under another name. We also found his website to not be an accurate reflection of what you will get when dealing with or hiring him. He will show up to your property with a drone to make you think he is this top notch pool contractor, but other than that, he doesn't have the necessary equipment to do the job right. He seems to know what he is talking about, but he does not do what he says or promises. Don't make the same mistake we did in hiring this one man show. I'm the Mayor of Auburn Hills, Michigan and I want to make sure that Pat does not take advantage of another family ever again. I've told our building inspectors and I'm passing the word around as best I can to surrounding area building departments to warn their residents and not allow this guy to take advantage of anyone else. Call me if you need any additional information. Home Advisor will not allow me to post my phone number, so use google to obtain my contact information. I'd be glad to tell you what we went through and the company that fixed everything for us. I've got pictures to show you as well if you would like or you can some on out and see for yourself first hand. I've got the whole build documented on a time lapse camera and I can show you all the corners he cut and the many things he did wrong. I plan to post the time lapse video for all to see as soon as I get it back from graphic designer. I just don't want anyone else to experience what we went through and the underlining problems we are still finding to this day! If this saves one family from the same heartaches, it was worth typing. I'd also be happy to give you a list of all the pool contractors that I had come out that showed me everything he did wrong. Some were even familiar with him! - Clearly you have done so many people wrong that it is coming back to finally bite you. Given your reply, you think blaming me for that is your way out of this mess you have found yourself. I would caution you from making frivolous and slanderous accusations. The only reviews I have made about you are signed by me. Stop flattering yourself, nobody is infatuated with you or stalking you. You clearly are paranoid. To say that you are presenting all the facts, well lets just leave the story telling to the time lapse camera of the project. That will tell those all they need to know about the "quality and profes

"Mayor Kevin McDaniel, As a professional who takes great pride in his work, I too am also very disappointed that your project did not go as expected. Despite my repeated efforts and committing everything in my power to make you a happy client, it became clear that you and I simply were never going to agree. As the project progressed, so too did your demands and your threats to me and to my vendors, eventually growing to the point that I told you in an email I will not accept phone calls or texts messages from you and that our only acceptable form of communication would be through email. In an email communication from your official city email address on November 7th, 2016 you said ?this email serves as written confirmation that you or anyone that works for you, are no longer allowed to step foot onto my property? and that ?you can send a refund check for the labor in the amount of $900? and written confirmation that your liner has been ordered. This is the only circumstance in which I will not proceed further litigation?. In an effort of putting this behind us, and in a final last-ditch effort to make you happy, I complied exactly as you had demanded including payment and proof that the liner had been ordered. Then in an additional email from you on November 8th, 2016 also from your official city email you wrote ?To relieve you from your obligations as it relates to the remaining tasks required to complete my pool kit installation, you will send me an additional check for a liner refund in the amount of $2195 (1995+200). My receipt of those cleared checks (the one for $2195 and the one for $900), ALONG WITH MY POOL KIT ORIGINAL DIG SPECS, will be termination of our contract? Again I complied to your demand. My point here is that I was the only one willing to try to resolve this matter. However just like your ever-increasing demands and escalating threats, there never was any real way to satisfy you. I complied partly out of my commitment to try and make things right, but more so out of my increasing fear of you. Then, In January of 2017 I received a 1099 from you for the IRS with my social security number on it. I know for a fact that I never gave you my social security number. I state this this because it supports my ever-growing fear related to your infatuation with me and with you apparently stalking me. After continued harassment I first contacted the Michigan State Police Department and My Local City Police Department and after speaking with them, I was lead to contact Auburn Hills City Attorney, the City Manager and your former boss, Auburn Hills Chief of Police. They called a meeting with you and in that meeting according to the Chief of Police, you said I gave you my social security number ?on a sticky note.? You and I both know this is not true. It?s just further evidence of your escalating aggressive behavior. Thank God that we live in a free country and that we all have the right to leave opinions of our e"
