In the past, I've taken my vehicle to the dealership first and get a diagnostic.  Then I take vehicle to Mike
because he has proven to be approx. 30% less than the dealer.  He made the repairs same day, showed me the parts and briefly educated me about the repairs.  He is knowledgeable with a wide range of makes and models.

Mike is very thorough preparing a service repair estimate. He wants you to fully understand why the vehicle needs repair and
many times will put the vehicle on the hoist and walk you through the repair process. He encourages you to ask questions
about the vehicle. They are very knowledgeable about a wide variety of makes and models. We have also used him to repair our Ford passenger van and GM sedan . After the repair is complete, Mike will show you the damaged part(s) and where the repair was made. One of the best mechanics I have ever found. Fair prices , trustworthy, and highly reccommended in the neighborhood.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles there for a few years. I have found that other shops (such as Belle Tire) were often untrustworthy like when they told me I needed new parts when I really did not. Anyway, I took my car there last week for a problem I was having with my transmission. They had to order a part which they said would take one day. They got the part the next day, fixed the car and even stayed late to accommodate my working schedule. Their prices are always fair and their work ethic is great. The mechanic that worked on my car is Bob. Bob is very thorough; he even took my Jeep to a car wash to hose the engine down so he could see where something was leaking. I really appreciate the fact that I can trust these guys not to rip me off and to give me an excellent repair job and keep my vehicle in good running condition. They do the same for my husband. They are all great guys that work at the 12 and Crooks BP.
