happy dog, happy owner

The best hair cut my 7 year old dog ever had. The business was spotless, the staff friendly and the service superior. First time my canine friend did not suffer any cuts or burns.

My Standard Poodle is 11 months old and had a previously bad experience at a groomer in Florida.  She was very nervous when we walked in but Crystal made her feel very comfortable.  The grooming was just what I had asked and the entire staff was very friendly.

I am new to the area and was very apprehensive about finding a good groomer for my 13 year old bichon.  She was used to the old groomer though never loved going, always exhausted after being there for several hours.  I read the reviews on Angies List about Scrubbers and decided to give them a try...I AM GLAD I DID!!!  Shelly was my dog's groomer today and it was just a great experience.  The place was meticulously clean, Shelly greeted us and my dog went right to her!  She never does that!  She was done in an hour and a half and looked as good as she's ever looked.  I already signed up for her next appt and am so happy to have found the place.  A real gem.

We love Scrubbers! The staff is professional and helpful and the facility is clean. It's very convenient to bathe your dog here and all supplies are included. We go often!

They make washing the dog really easy for us, you don't have to bend over, the tubs are nice and tall, and you can do it yourself, we did it ourselves. It was just a fun way to have your dog cleaned. The dogs walk up to the tub so you can actually stand there and scrub your dog or they'll do it for you but we always do it ourselves. Other Angie's List members who want to use them should just leave the mess at the Scrubbers instead of trying to wash your dog in your house, in your bathtub or in your shower and just do the dog wash there and they'll clean up after you. It's so much easier, it's so much more convenient, and it's fun. I think the dogs can socialize a little bit and the owner, Nikki, is just wonderful, she's doing such a great job with the business.

I took the dog to Scrubbers a few days later to be "fixed up". I told them what happened at the other salon. They generously agreed to do the feathering for $25, which I thought was very considerate of them. I have had the dog to Scrubbers before and have always been happy with their work and their friendliness. The dog has a history of abuse and they are very good with her about that. She is always happy when we leave there. The groomer, Nancy, even found mats on the dog that the other groomer missed. I was trying to save money, but I guess the old adage is true: you get what you pay for.
