HARTRICK VETERINARY CLINIC

I would not go to Dr.Hartrick. We had an emergency with our puppy, Salem, during business hours and they said they couldn’t see her for a week. From what I’ve heard from other vet offices that is ridiculous bc 1) she was a puppy and 2) she was a patient of Dr.Hartrick already. They tried to pass us off to their sister clinic and we left multiple messages and never heard back. We ended up having to go to OVRS, spending $3000 and we had to put the puppy down. OVRS couldn’t even tell us what was wrong except that her kidneys were shutting down. I don’t know if my experience at OVRS was out of the ordinary but our experience at Dr.Hartrick was unacceptable. I am very disappointed bc their reviews were so positive. Don’t be fooled.

It is the regular hospital. They give a senior discount and a "more than one pet" discount too. I've been using them for years. They're very good.

It was not the best experience. We waited around over 2 hours just to get the service. One of the staff didn't seem to know what she was doing when it came to billing.The vet kept repeating himself and seemed not to know what he was doing. He showed us a negative o the X-ray which was basically the same thing. I felt like he was treating children. I saw his good reviews on Angie's List.

We have taken our pets to Hartrick since we moved into the area in 1996 (17 years). The usual delays aside, they are courteous, compassionate, and accommodating. Our most recent experience involved our cat, Max, whom Hartrick had treated since he was born. He was sick, without the opportunity to make him better, and we made the extremely difficult decision to end his suffering. The staff and doctors at Hartrick treated us with respect and compassion, understanding that this was an emotional and difficult decision to make.
Our other cat, Zoo, is a regular customer, having spent the majority of the summer of 2011 at the office because of a urinary tract defect that required two surgeries and multiple check-ups to correct. The staff and doctors take the time to answer our questions, explain why they are recommending certain treatments/procedures, and genuinely care about the well-being of our furry family members.
Aside from expected veterinary services, they also have boarded our pets when we are out-of-town for extended periods of time. Although the cats don't necessarily like going, they are always well fed and groomed upon our return. I trust these professionals and highly recommend them. The office is no frills but the service is exceptional.

The doctors are great and always treat our dog like one of their own. The staff is very courteous and acomadating to our requests for certain doctors and times of appointments. If we need an appointment for a problem we feel is urgent a same day appointment is usually given. We can't always afford the expensive prescribed medication for our dog's problems so alternative treatments and medications are suggested.
Our previous dogs have had very successful surgeries and treatment for all their lives. We have been using Hartrick Veterinary Clinic since about 1974 -nearly 40 years and no complaints!

He is very knowledgeable and reliable.

THEY WERE VERY GENTLE WITH HER. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. WE NEVER QUESTIONED THEIR KNOWLEDGE. WHEN WE TOOK HER IN, WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG TO SEE THE DOCTOR. THEY CHECKED HER OUT AND GAVE HER MEDICINE SO WE COULD TAKE HER HOME WITH US.

THEY ARE VERY CARING AND COMPASSIONATE. THEY ARE VERY INTERESTED KEEPING MY DOG HEALTHY AND HAPPY. THEY ARE ALSO VERY FRIENDLY. THE CLINIC IS CLEAN AND THE AMBIANCE IS INVITING. I REALLY LIKE GOING TO THIS VET.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. WE TAKE ALL OF OUR PETS HERE. IT IS EASY TO GET AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE ANIMALS. THE FACILITY IS CLEAN AND THE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE TO USE.

IT WAS LIKE HAVING A FAMILY MEMBER TAKE CARE OF MY DOG. I FELT REALLY COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY DOG WITH THEM. THEY TREAT ALL OF THEIR ANIMALS WITH RESPECT.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CARING FOR THE ANIMALS. I THINK OUR DOG EVEN LIKES GOING THERE OUR DOG ALSO GETS A TREAT AND A SENIOR DISCOUNT BECAUSE OF HIS AGE.
