Grow Earth Sod Farm & Landscaping

Our backyard was pretty much a mud pit when it rained. I called Grow Earth because of the great reviews. I called on a Monday and Manu retuned my call within a day, was out the next day to give us an estimate ( which was amazing) and the sod was installed a couple weeks later. Our yard is absolutely gorgeous now. Our little slice of heaven. The installation crew were friendly and quick plus they answered all my questions In regards to care. Manu called us once a week for 3 weeks to make sure we were watering and then came by to check on the sod a couple weeks later. He said he’d be by in the fall to check how the sod is doing and if need be he would seed the areas that have thinned. That’s what I call service! I would and will highly recommend Grow Earth for any of your landscape needs.

Manu and his employees did a GREAT job with installing sod at our new home. The experience was wonderful! They worked with diligence, professionalism and dedication. They are highly experienced in the work they do. Our neighbors have complimented us everyday on the look of our lawn since they installed the sod. I would recommend Grow Earth to anyone! I acquired four estimates for sod Installation. Grow Earth Sod Farm & Installation provided the most reasonable estimate by far! Manu and his employees (most of them have who have worked at Gro Earth for ten years or more which is a clear sign of an incredible company), Daniel, Philip and Jonn were incredible. I received constant updates through the entire process and the guys were extremely efficient, hard working, neat and so kind (Daniel even took the time to answer all of my six year old neighbor’s questions). I would absolutely trust Gro Earth with any of my landscaping needs. They are honest and take the time to explain everything. They are FANTASTIC and I highly recommend Gro Earth!! Triple A rating!!!

Great! Sod and landscaping pricing was well below other companies we spoke with, and they were prompt, insightful, and easy to work with. We wanted to go as simple and low maintenance as possible, and they really worked with us to create a great front landscape design that we are really happy with. We also hadn't realized they have worked on several of our neighbor's lawns and gardens. Our neighbors raved when they learned we were working with them.

Manu is unbelievably one of the most professional people I have ever meant. He is so knowledgeable and he took the time to explained to us what was needed to keep our sod nice after installation. You could tell he wasn't just about the money, but also wanted you to have a nice, lasting lawn. It was so rainy these last few weeks, but Manu kept us informed and wanted to make sure we were on the same page. Not only was he very, knowledgeable, professional but a very nice man. I wouldn't hesitate to hire his company again. Sod is a big investment so it was nice to have someone you can trust

Manu and his crew were polite, professional and did very nice work. He is easy to work with and tries to help with costs where ever he sees an option. Book early to have your work done, good contractors like this stay busy.

He did very well. Because of the price and everything, we are really happy. I have contacted him to do something else, but he didn't do the area  that we lived in. For any other landscaping I wouldn't hesitate to call him.

Contacted Manu and his crew after soliciting multiple other quotes from local landscaping companies. Was highly impressed with his promptness and availability, as well as his fair estimate of cost for work performed. Manu responded timely and explained what exactly the process would be and what to expect as we moved forward. Crew that came for the prep and install were timely, courteous, acceptable and showed great pride in their work, including going above and beyond to help reinforce some brick pavers which were previously not supported correctly (Especially John). Prep and install were completed on time, and as expected. Would HIGHLY recommend Grow Earth, Manu and crew for any sod installation needs. Will water lawn as directed for the next two weeks and hope the grass roots well.

As an addendum to my previous review (which I for cannot seem to edit alone) Manu reached out to me to explain that the person whom I'd been trying to contact regarding my concern was no longer with the company - he offered to remove the dead patches and re-sod the area and hope for the best (since my original concern was the lack of viability as my backyard is quite shady with trees). Manu has been following up almost weekly if not daily on the progress

I contracted with Grow Earth for both my patio and sod installation and could not be happier with my decision. After interviewing countless companies, Grow Earth and Manu (the owner) stood out as professional, honest, and sincerely interested in doing quality work that would meet or exceed my expectations. Manu always was accessible either by phone or in person, his crew showed up to do the work when promised, his entire crew was professional and courteous, and Manu was on the job site to personally oversee the progress. When I had questions, Manu was always available. The work quality was top notch, the price was reasonable, and Manu did not try to over sell me on things that did not make sense for my situation (e.g, bigger/more expensive patio). Its rare today to find a company that is this focused on customer satisfaction and doing quality work. I have a neighbor that also used Grow Earth and was just as impressed and happy as I am. I cannot say enough good things about Grow Earth.

Had called four company's only two came out to give a estimates. Manu came out on time when he said he would. We gave him the job, he was a lot more thorough of our needs then others. They started the job on time when they said would. We had some ideas that I thought made sense and Manu explained a better way to take care of our water problems. He was very knowledgeable of his job. Manu oversaw the job and worked side by side with his crew. He came out a lot to make sure we were happy. I would recommend this company for any yard work you needed. Excellent work at a very fair price.

They came out to remove the existing grass and I think regrade - but left their machines and a half ripped up yard for a week without any indication of when the work was going to be. After the sod was laid, several patches died after a few weeks. We contacted Dan who came out to replace the pieces only to have the same patches die again. I've emailed Dan several times over the past year to ask him for suggestions as one of the challenges with our yard is the massive tree that shades a good part of the yard. This concern was brought up at the initial time of estimate and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. No reponse from Dan - fast forward a year and I've been replacing the dead patches myself with grass seed. Good price initially, but customer service and quality of work leaves much to be desired

A fantastic experience to work with Grow Earth. From a start point  with competitive & fair pricing to a timely executed implementation, and great final details. Our project included everything new for our backyard: grading, drainage, paver patio, landscape and sod. We began the process by working with Manu who came to our house several times to discuss what we needed and wanted.  A landscape architect created a design. Manu presented us his estimate and once his team began, they were very efficient and worked fast for the size of project.  The outcome is perfect, we love our new functional, private  and beautiful backyard.  They are  extremely flexible, I added some changes to the original design based on how the project was coming together and they accommodated every request. The communication was excellent, Manu loves his business and provides excellent customer service. The crew was very friendly and professional.

It was a great experience to work with Grow earth.  The day I contacted Manu the owner, he visited my home and emailed me a detailed competitive quote.  The crew is very professional and Manu manages the details himself.  Communication is excellent.  HIghly recommended!

Manu and his team are top-notch! I picked them based on their reviews on here, and was not disappointed. The cost was fair and reasonable considering the scale of the work, and close to what I expected it to be. He was really great with communication, giving frequent updates via phone/text to be sure we were aligned. When he found out we had a pending birthday party for my daughter, he was able to accelerate the timeline and complete the work ahead of schedule. The yard looks great! I'm a real stickler for customer service, and highly recommend Grow Earth for this type of work based on our experience.

The job turned out to be more extensive than originally thought due to the depth of the roots that had to be removed. The job was done in a day and replanting followed within the next day or two. . Manu, the owner, made great suggestions regarding the design and choice of new shrubs and plants. .

Everything went very well.  The project started and ended on the dates expected.  The yard was left clean at the end of each workday and everything came out beautifully.  They were such a pleasant crew to have around.  Everyone was courteous with us and friendly with our toddlers who had lots of fun watching.  When we needed to have a consultation partway through the project, Manu was willing to meet early in the morning, so our workdays weren't interrupted.  When we had some changes to the design and layout to the pavers, everyone was totally willing to make the changes at no extra charge.  They even checked in with me to see if I was happy with the results while the changes were in progress. As they were working, I could see that they were paying close attention to the grade and working with precision. There were no unexpected fees.  There was an upfront cost for the drawing, but that cost was applied to the project, once we began. I highly recommend Grow Earth.  It was a pleasure having them work on our house and the end result is exactly what I was looking for.

We needed a portion of a backyard graded and new sod installed.  We got a few quotes.  We chose to work with Grow Earth based on their price, but also their responsiveness.  We appreciated their willingness to work with our schedule and answer all of our questions.
The work was completed over two days.   The work site was clean and neat.  The crew was friendly and professional.  We were very happy with the completed project.  The entire yard looked much better.
It was a great experience.  But here's the best part.  The sod was for a rental property and we didn't check on it daily (which we should have).  After a few hot dry days, we stopped by and the sod was yellow!  The tenant wasn't watering for long enough periods, probably. 
Even though this was clearly our own fault, Manu from Grow Earth really went above and beyond.  He came out and redid the sod at no cost to us!  I was surprised and grateful.  That's impressive customer service.
We are starting on another, more elaborate project, with them this fall.  They've earned a loyal customer.  I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

Dan and the entire team at Grow Earth were great to work with. Very personable from the start and listened to what the wife and I wanted to have done with the back yard. They put together a very reasonable quote and were able to deliver in a timely manner. They would have completed ahead of schedule if it was not for a little bit of rain we had. I plan to have the front yard re-sodded in the spring next year and will be calling the team back to have them do it. I would recommend their services to anyone who has landscaping needs.
