 I supplied  my own fabric and gimp, I switched double piping to a gimp and had done much of the fabric & staple removal myself.  Dimitrie Uphostering finished the chair within a two weeks and it was very professionally done. I took the chair to them although they were willing to pick it up.
 (I found area competitors were either the same price or more, and/or would not respond to my calls and emails.)
 I would use them again.

After finding Dimitrie Upholstering on Angie's List, I drove to their location.  I walked in without an appointment, and was warmly greeted and quickly taken care of.  The work was done professionally and promptly, and I would definitely take another project to them in the future.

When I called the company to express my concerns with the work that was done, he said, "We knew you'd be calling back." I was transferred to another person, Bob, he refused to answer my questions about why the first person was saying he knew I would call back. I was explaining the issues with the chair and he said that he would send someone out to correct the issue. When I asked when that would be he hung up on me. I have called back several times with no answer. I have heard nothing but positive things about this company, I am so disappointed with my experience.

The experience could not have gone smoother. I first called to set up an appointment to get an estimate. They came out a day or two later and arrived on time with material books for me to look through. The estimate appointment was quick and thorough. I called back a few days later to schedule the work. They picked up the sofas a few days after that. The fabric I had chosen was back ordered, but Mark said he'd get to work as soon as the material came in. I was surprised to get a call just two weeks later that the sofas were ready. The material had come in sooner than expected, and they really did get right to work on them! We scheduled delivery, and once again they were exactly on time. The sofas are beautifully done and so very comfortable. I had searched about a year for new sofas before deciding to reupholster. These are far nicer than anything I could have purchased new at the same price. They look and feel like new sofas that would have cost double the upholstery cost. Also, a furniture sales woman at a nice furniture store couldn't believe how good the re-upholstery estimate was.

They did an outstanding job. I used my own fabric. They were able to salvage some of the existing fabric on the two wingbacks and as I was using the same fabric to re-upholster it required extra effort on their part. The workmanship was excellent. They were completed ahead of schedule. And as my husband had surgery, they were nice enough to deliver them to our home. I plan to use them when I have my sofa and loveseat re-done.

Friendly, professional and gave me an economical option to find quality fabric at a discounted price, not from them. Delivered items before promise date. Fairly priced.

I checked Angie's List before I chose Dimitirie's and I'm glad I took the time to do my research. Dennis was very helpful and actually suggested I look into purchasing my own fabric from another store and bring it to him to have the work done. I found sale fabric for 50% off! When I brought my cushions and fabric back to Dimitirie's, they measured and told me 3 weeks. Well, everything was done, and done right, in two! Very professional and very satisfied.

Took in cushion for measurements. They ordered special sized foam for inserts. Delivered 5 cushions to them. Picked up newly filled
Cushions days later. Great job! Good price! Highly recommend!

About 30 years ago they reupholstered a couch, cushions and a lazy boy chair for me. I loved the results. They did a very good job and I remembered them. Recently when I moved back from California I had them reupholster an antique couch and chair and matching cushions (set circa 1940's) - expensive but beautiful. I'm again very satisfied. They also replaced the filling in another couch seat and back cushions earlier this month. This extended the life of this couch: I'll get years more comfortable wear out of it.
In my opinion they do very good work, are easy to work with, timely, helpful, reasonable and responsive. I didn't compare their prices with others so don't know where they fall comparatively speaking price-wise. I did note that the yardage they said I needed to buy for the project was what I thought I would need from the research I did. Hence, I think they are honest and fair.
I needed services they didn't provide. They gave me references to good people like them.

Great job! Satisfied with work performed. Would recommend upholster projects to them based on this experience. Chair is very durable and solid performer thanks to refurbish by dimitries!
