BIRMINGHAM GLASS & MIRROR

Called and made an appointment. Took off work and waited all day for them to arrive, never showed. Called them, and they said that they were very sorry and to reschedule to another day. So I took off another vacation day from work to wait for them. They never showed. I am down 2 vacation days, no work done. Not going to ever do business with them again.

I took the measurements to their store, where I selected the type of glass I wanted. The woman was very professional and answered all of my questions. The only criticism I have was they were overly optimistic by leading me to believe the shelves might possibly be ready the next day. I was so anxious to receive the shelves, I was disappointed when it took a day or two longer than the original estimate. However, after dealing with another glass company in the area who would not even return calls, Birmingham Glass and Mirror was delightful to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing glass shelving.

I had never heard of Birmingham Glass and Mirror but discovered this gem of a business as a result of a very poor experience with my previous glass vendor of many years. I found a much more customer-friendly and professional alternative in Birmingham Glass and Mirror and at a location about the same distance from my location.

While my tiny project hardly tested Birmingham Glass and Mirror's capabilities, they completed my job while I waited and the result was perfect workmanship.

They also took the time to show me the breadth of their artistic abilities. There must be a hundred samples of laminated glass and mirror samples on display in their small showroom. The glass finishing capabilities of their shop area really amazed me. I had always thought really fancy edge cutting, beveling and polishing (including curves) required shipping out to a distant factory - not so, it can be done right on location in this shop.
