It is always a great experience at A&E Mower.  My lawn mower engine needed a tune up, and though they were at the busiest time of year for their business, they completed the job within 5 days.  My lawnmower runs great, and it came back cleaner than I bbrought it in,

For some crazy reason, manufacturers of portable generators design them in such a way as to be vulnerable to rain. That's idiotic - how often do you need to use a generator when it's not raining?
Anyway, this last big rainstorm, ours died on us. I found Aand E via Angie's List and they were well-reviewed, so I called them, then took the generator to them the next morning.
They had it fixed early in the afternoon, same day. Aside from fixing the issue, they performed a full tune-up, changed the oil, and showed me a better way to shut it down to keep the carbeurator clean. Apparently the ethanol in all gasoline sold today mucks two-cycle engines up if it sits in them too long, as happens with generators, snow blowers, and mowers.
The generator now starts on the first pull, every time. I can't remember the last time it did that. I'm thrilled with the service - timing and quality.
Price for all of it was a few bucks less than they estimated when I dropped it off.

I took two mowers in- my regular one and a self-propelled one I acquired but had been sitting for six years. He repaired the latter one and I picked it up the following Saturday. He was really busy so he fixed the second one later - I said it was ok because I had the and quot;good oneand quot; back.

Great guys. Old school integrity, honest, hard-working, in the business forever kind of guys. I will take any mower, snow thrower, or trimmer there until the end of time.
I can't recommend them enough.

My husband dropped the snowblower off for a tune-up and blade sharpening and was told it would be done the next day. The cost was $92. We had seen it offered for a bit less, but wanted to go somewhere with good review since we had bad experienes at two other places in years past. We received a call the next morning, bright and early, that it was done. My husband spoke to him about issues with our snowblower so when he went to pick up the lawnmower, he broght the snowblower and was given an estimate of $55 so left it. We were called the same day that it was done at a cost of $50. Even though we just got them today and haven't had a chance to use them yet, they both started right up. My husband encouraged me to write a good review right way, based on his experience -- so here I am!

When I dropped it off at A and E, I mentioned the problem and asked if the mower could also be given a general tune-up, blade sharpening, etc., as it was overdue for maintenance. The gentleman who looked over the mower while I was there informed me that the muffler was missing and asked if I knew how long ago that had happened. I didn't know the answer, as my husband is the primary user. He told me it would typically take about a week for the job, but could be longer if any difficulty obtaining any necessary replacement parts.It took about two weeks, but was well worth the wait. My husband said it works like a brand new mower, and he'd definitely go back to them if we need any future lawn mower service.

They're busy at times so it may take awhile to get that back to you. Other than that, they do a great job.

Good customer service, fair price, good workmanship. If you want someone you can trust to repair your snow blower or lawn equipment, this is the place.

I took my snowblower to the lawn equipment dealer I had purchased it from for service. The machine wouldn't start. They were too busy to get to it in a reasonable time, so I decided to try Aand E. Aand E finished the machine in a little over a week, doing a great job with a carb rebuild and replacement of worn parts on the thrower paddles. Price was very reasonable for the parts an labor. I took my mower there a few months later for a spring tune-up and again was taken care of promptly. Quality of work was excellent. A big A-OK for these guys.

Always reliable. Make sure to get there before the seasonal rush!

They fixed everything perfectly, sharpened blade, and it runs like new now.

Brought in my lawn mower for a seasonal tune - up. It was ready for pick up the next day and was washed free of charge. It has been running like a top this summer.

Never connected with the service

They reshaped the bowl, resolder the bowl to the mower, changed the sparkplug and air filter. The mower works better than it did when I took it in. I am so happy it is fixed. They cost a lot less than my repairman. I just love it.

I took an edger to Aand E to repair a faulty guard that prevented the edger from operating. It was fixed on the day promised and runs great. I saw he had a number of edgers, mowers and snow blowers in for repair, so he's diversified. Great experience. The owner was fair and honest. I'll take other equipment back to Aand E for repair.

Very personable service. Everything was explained up front, estimate was nearly spot on ($86). Given that I don't have the expertise, the level of service provided, and the fact that I didn't end up junking the mower, I found great value in the work done. FYI, no credit cards- cash or check only (no big deal really).

Andy told me to expect repair completion the next day. He called before noon the next day. The mower runs like new!
