A Veteran Chimney Sweep

I would definitely hire this company again! They were prompt. They inspected my fireplace thoughly. They moved the couch that my tenant placed in front of the fireplace and were so pleasant. It is a father and son team and I could tell that they took pride in their work. I also got a great tip on what to put in my next lease regarding using the fireplace.

Chimney was cleaned and family room was as clean as when he started. Minor repair is required and technician told me how to repair it myself if I so chose. Took about an hour

Dennis came out to our house when we were inspecting it - prior to buying. We hired him to clean and sweep the chimney after we moved in. He is very professional, knowledgable and personable. He gave me a few tips - some things he couldn't do and a mason would be required and recommended a mason. The rate was very reasonable. We will hire him again.

UPDATE: 9.9.2014: While it was a good experience at the time we have now discovered the work was incomplete and lazy. He did not properly educate us on what was really needed to fix it.

Dennis was punctual and very pleasant.  His knowledge of his work is evident and he was happy to share. He did find an area that needed a fix and talked with me about it before I gave him the go ahead.  Dennis explained things completely so I would understand why the fix was necessary.  He was efficient and cleaned up after the work was done.  The price was more than reasonable.  I am very pleased with his work and will gladly call him again.

Have used before.  Very personable. Very knowledgeble about chimneys and fireplaces.  Punctual and professional.  Saw the need for some minor repair while sweeping chimney and made the repairs at no extra charge.  Also gave tips on fireplace maintenance.

Dennis showed up right on time for our appointment and did a great job.  No mess and took the time to review the operation of the damper in my 1950s house--much appreciated.   Took a while to get on the schedule--I guess a testament to a good client base.  Would definitely use him again.

He arrived on time, friendly, identified who he was, very clean, neat, well presented.  He covered his shoes before he came in, he was very clean during the process - did a thorough inspection, replace only necessary items didn't try to sell me anything more.  He educated me on the proper use and maintanance of my fireplace.  Cleaned up after himself - took about 30-40 minutes and he was done.  He was very professional.  Great value!!  I didn't feel over charged like many other companies I have used.  He is a good local guy doing a great job!  Hire him!!

Dennis was great! Very professional and gave me a walkthru of what he was going to be doing that day. Timely in his work, cleaned up after and you couldn't even tell he was there (besides the clean fireplace)! Did a few extra things as a first time customer add on and we'll definitely be having him back in the spring to do the repair work we know needs to be done to the outside. He came recommended through a friend and I'd agree with his all A's grade here on Angie's List!

Dennis was punctual, knowledgeable, and honest. He explained the issue very thoroughly making sure we understood what he was saying and referred us to a hot-cold air expert who cold fine tune our duct work. He also answered questions we had about our other fireplace. I would highly recommend this company.

Dennis is wonderful! He is pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive and professional. He has cleaned chimneys for us a number of times, and also done chimney repair and fixed chimney caps. Anyone would be thoroughly pleased and delighted to work with him!

Dennis has been cleaning our chimney for the past 15 years and I does a great job. The first time he came out he repaired the mortar and installed (2) chimney caps which are still fine. Since then he cleans the chimney once every two years, inspects the outside portion. He usually takes about an hour and cleans up after himself. He always has a smile on his face and genuinely enjoys his work.

We were very satisfied with this company and the professional job they did. We liked their professionalism and courteous representation as well.
