Welding
I wanted to make a coffee table for my mom for a Christmas gift. I made the top out of wood but needed someone to weld the metal legs. Jim normally does big jobs (garage doors, boat hoists, etc) but treated my small request like it was just as important. We communicated the design specs over the phone and via email. He was very responsive and made great suggestions. When he shopped for the metal and told me what it would cost, I got sticker shock. However, he said if I could wait awhile, he may be able to come up with a cheaper alternative. Which he did! I was very pleased with the quality of his work and the price. He's a nice, courteous person and great at his craft.
