spring clean up went fine yard and bushes looked nice. the weekly lawn service was great yard always looked nice. The only negative was at the end of the season when I told them I did not want the fall clean up they still did it and billed me, we ended up agreeing on half the amount. Overall good service.

I think they do only mowing, and not other landscape services. I paid $200 for the snow removal. My experience with the lawn work was good but snow work was not so good; I ended up cancelling it only because it just was too expensive for me. It was not just him, it was all other snow removal companies. It was like the minute the snow starts falling, they are out shoveling it; actually before it was even done snowing. The time in December when we had huge snow, they did great. They did the 6 inches and came back the next day when it snowed; even at that point I would not have shoveled again because it was so little. I think that is pretty much a thing of all snow removal companies; an inch is not very much and if it is blowing, there are some of the parts of the driveway that would be bare and they would still come and shovel. It was $30 every time Grasshopper guys would come out. The only thing with they that I had not heard from anyone else was that they had graduated the prices. Most of them were charging $30 for an inch to 6 inches and anything over 6 inches was $50. Grasshopper had charged $30 for an inch to 3 inches, $40 for 3 inches to 6 inches, and over 6 inches was $50. I asked them how they determined the cost, and they said it is by the snow fall. If they say that my area got 4 inches, that was is what they would charge me. Most places had only two prices and they had three but I know that most of the companies raised their prices this year because last year they had so little snow fall that they were trying to make up for it. I do not think that it was anything any other company would do. I just ended up cancelling because it was getting to be too much as it was snowing every other day. I would tell others like with any snow removal to be aware of the costs. The lawn service part was great, I was very happy with that. Their price was really good on the grass but kind of high with the snow.

I have been using Grasshopper to cut our lawn since the beginning of this year. They do a great job at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them. An example of how they go above and beyond the minimum service level is that the first time they cut the lawn was a little bit later in the spring. I was kind of lazy and hadn't cut the back yard grass at that point. I had cut the front so it looked nice, but the back I hadn't cut. Instead of just running over the back lawn with the lawnmower to say it was cut, they cut it twice and they bagged and took the clippings away. We hadn't discussed it ahead of time, and I never asked them to do it. It seemed that they noticed it needed to be done and they just took care of it. And they didn't charge me extra.
I am a very busy person, but I still want my yard to look nice. With the help of Grasshopper that is possible!

I switched to using these guys this year. My last guy fell off the face of the earth this year and they cut a neighbors lawn. Her lawn always looked nice and I gave them a try. We had some problems getting people to come to the house in the past. I have referred them to 2 family members and they are having the same quality work done at their home. The only complaint I have is when we signed up we never discussed a spring clean up charge. When I saw it on the bill I was a little upset. They had provided the service and it looks great so I never said anything to him. But it does look great. On my friends homes I warned them about that and he worked with the before he started. They showed up when they said they would and both crews are very professional.
