Experienced Glass Block LLC

I'm a 1st time user of A.L. and I must admit that I'm relieved and very happy to have become member. The glass block company "Experienced Glass Block" responded to me a day after when I submitted a quote request. With in a few days E.G.B. sent one of their experienced tech to draw up the quote at $220 that I have accepted. My install is set to be in 3 days. The installation of the new window was smooth. The technician was very professional, he cleaned up all of the debris and the window looks great. I have two basement windows that I'm considering to have replaced and the company of my choice will be Experienced Glass Block. Thanks again for a great product and good experience.

They did a nice job and we're really happy with it. I had some wood framing that had been rotted and they took it out and cleaned it up.

I’m very disappointed in what happened at my home on July 21, 2016. The men arrived at about 4:20 and appeared very hurried due to their long work day and forthcoming rain. I got to the home minutes before they did and told them I wanted to remove my two screens (attached by 4 screws) before they removed the windows. I planned on keeping the screens for the one window that was not being replaced. Minutes later, before I even realized it, one of the windows with a screen was pried out, destroying a screen that I, just moments ago, told them I wanted to keep!!! I can only guess that the guy was so hurried trying to get done before the rain that he didn’t hear a word I said. Furthermore, brick was chipped when he removed the frames. I was there to witness it and know it could have been avoided had he spent a couple of extra minutes removing it carefully. It clearly wasn’t a situation where is was “unavoidable.” The man in the basement didn’t put any drop cloths down, used my toilet to wash his hands of excess mortar (I asked why my bowl with filthy and that was his explanation). The sink in my basement was recently removed so he decided the toilet was the next best option? I do have other sinks in the home or he could have used the outside faucet. They left dirty footprints all over my stairs (it started raining while they were working) rather than spend an extra few minutes cleaning up before their departure. The workman outside asked when he was done “what did I think.” I asked him to clean up some of the excess mortar left on the brick. His only response was “wow” as if he was annoyed I asked. He did proceed, however, to spend a few extra minutes to remove some of the excess mortar. Had they devoted an extra fifteen minutes of time to the project (they were there less than an hour) all of this nonsense could have been avoided. It would have been nice if they treated my home as they would treat their own. I took photos of everything. I sent an email, via Angie's List, asking for a discount due to my destroyed screen and brick damage - NO response. Thank you.

I called EGB for a quote and had it waiting in my door by the time I got home from work. They had the best price around and were able to come out and install the windows 2 days later. The installer was very professional and cleaned everything up when he was done. Highly recommended!
