Our builder contracted this company to install granite. The installer laid granite on a cabinet that was not level. Rather than leveling the cabinet, they used a crazy amount of caulk and makeshift shims to "level" the granite. The end result was embarrassing - especially since the exposed, caulked end faced our nook. We got to stare at it every day while eating. The company sent workers out twice after we complained. Both times they were rude and hostile, refusing to accept blame for the obvious error. After a year, several people came to our home at once and finally fixed the granite by leveling the cabinet, scraping out all of the caulk, and removing the shims.

My contractor, Professional Restoration Group (Petrucci Homes) subcontracted my granite countertops to European Cabinets. Benny was really helpful, got my granite in on time to keep my job on schedule. When I came out to approve my slabs, he walked me around the whole warehouse, explained everything, and could even read my face that I had questions. He then took me back into the warehouse and showed me works in progress to explain everything to me. He explained the different ways of undermounting the sink. He recommended a different way than what I thought I wanted, and I agreed to go with his professional opinion. He then explained that what I wanted would work nicely and he wanted me to be happy with the job. He said they would do it the way I wanted in the first place! He was very helpful. The work was done exactly on time, and my granite is beautiful. They did a great job templating, cutting and installing. I plan to call him when it's time to do my island and bathrooms too.
