Moved from Sterling Heights to South Lyon. Contacted John on a Tuesday for a Sunday move. He was very responsive on the phone. The three movers(Tony, Steve and John), showed up right on time. They hustled and carefully packed our items. Move was super smooth. They were very respectful and placed everything exactly where we wanted it. They knew how to move around corners and other obstacles . No damage and finished in a quick manner.

I called this company and initially had a positive experience over the phone with the owner, John Pynn. After we went through EVERYTHING I had in my house that needed to be moved, he gave me an estimate over the phone (He said I would need 2 men, at $76/hr plus a one-time $76 fee). I asked him to send me a written copy of the estimate, which he did. I thought everything was all set and I looked forward to the move.On moving day, the movers showed up on time, however they had 3 men with them. One of them approached me and explained that he had brought 3 men because he knew I would need that many to move all of my stuff (without seeing any of it). I showed him my estimate from John (the owner), which was only for 2 men, but then he said he would actually save me money by using 3 men- Even though it would cost me a LOT more per hour for 3 men and it would take the same amount of time as my original estimate!!!! I said, no thank you, we would just like to stick with our original agreement. He said he had to go call John, and when he came back, he said he had to go drop the 3rd man off and he'd be right back. I asked him how long it would take and he said the guy lived 10 minutes away, so he'd be back within a half hour. After an hour went by, I called the owner (john), who informed me that they all went home for the day. I was completely dumfounded. It was now 3 PM on a Thursday afternoon in July and we were without movers. John was not sympathetic at all, and he was actually extremely rude to me on the phone. When I asked him if someone could come back and at least put the doors back on the hinges, he said I was having a "temper tantrum" and hung up on me. I have NEVER in my life dealt with someone so unprofessional, uncaring, and RUDE.To make our situation even worse, we had renters moving into the house we were moving out of THE NEXT DAY, and I am pregnant and couldn't lift anything heavy. Of course we couldn't find any movers at such late notice, so we ended up having to and rent a truck a few days later (when we could get one), and move everything ourselves with the kind help of some friends. We also had to give the renters money back since they couldn't move in on time. This company will try and scam you into spending more money, and if you don't want to play their games, they will leave you out to dry. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
