When I hired this company in 2020, I gave them an outstanding review. I am writing this review 4 years later to advise anyone looking to hire this company, DON'T DO IT! The DO NOT honor their warranty! They also installed the furnace incorrectly the first time and it took a week to get it corrected. They had an UNLICENSED service employee install the system which is why there were problems with the install. The install almost flooded my home and they fought me everyday I contacted them with issues. If I could delete my previous review, I would in a heartbeat but I cannot which is why I am writing this review. I will be contacting BBB as well as the Chamber of Commerce to report this company. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!

Very satisfied with the experience. They cleaned dirt from our 30 yr old ac compressor and charged a very reasonable fee. Advised that we would probably need a new one soon, They promised to send us an estimate. We were fortunate to find APEX and so glad they could travel so far. Thanks again!!

These guys are awesome. I was called back within 15 min from posting on homeadvisor that my A/C was pushing out hot air.They were at my house in Lewiston in about an hour. They had it repaired and juiced up with free-on within an hour. I also asked for a quote on a new furnace/ac and was presented with a quote within 2 days, unlike Gilchrest who never got back to me with a quote and a year later when I asked Gilchrest for the quote, I was told that his van was in the shop and he didn't know when he would be able to come by to give me a quote. Never heard from him again. I would recommend Apex to anyone who has HVAC issues, very happy with their service!

I didnt understand that on top of the thermostat fee & labor there was an $85 travel fee. The thermostat was replaced but they found the problem was that mice had chewed the wires outside.

"This Customer said he wanted a new thermostat so that is why we changed it. We knew that was not the problem. There is always a travel charge. This was just a bad customer."

I needed a new furnace for my cottage. It was an emergency,so I looked at Home Advisor and they recommended Apex Refrigeration and Mechanical. I contacted Brent at Apex and he came right out and assessed the situation. I needed to leave to go out of State and I felt comfortable to allow him access to my cottage even without me being there. If I ever have a heating problem I will call Apex Heating. You should do so as well. They fixed it and I saved $100.00 a year having another company come out each time and just get the furnace running till it shut off again. Thank you Apex and Brent.
