The salesperson who came out was very nice and professional - however, he did not tell me that I needed to have everything in the basement 3 feet from the walls.  This caused us to scramble on the day of installation and i'm certain that this made it more difficult for the installers as well.  Additionally, no one had warned me of how strong the smell would be initially and I had to scramble a bit to get my very young family out of the house to avoid it and/or off-gassing.  The installers arrived on time and were ready to roll.  They did an excellent job insulating the rim joists and did a pretty good job of cleaning up.  There were some spots where I had to scrape the insulation off of the floor and wall.  Overall, I would recommend them for small jobs such as this.

They were nice. They tried not to make too much mess and they were polite. They asked if they could use the bathroom. At the end we were satisfied. Initially I think they sent out when they did the first one, they said they were not using very good technicians out in the field because we were renting the house for 3 years and once we moved in and started taking down the walls, we found that there wasn't any insulation. Once we contacted them, they came and fixed the first floor for free and then we went ahead and did two rooms upstairs. The guy took his time and even showed me that the walls were full. They did what they were supposed to do.

When the employees showed they smelled like pot. I thought the company would have done  a drug test. Anyways the work was ok Time will tell if my house will be warmer and my gas bill lower. When they left I found nails on my driveway and I keep finding them around the out side of the house. Thank god they did not get in my tires. When they drilled the holes in the mortar  and filled them back I cannot  tell where the holes are that was good but I feel that the price was high for the job.

We were working on a renovation due to a burst pipe, and I wanted best insulation so it doesn't happen again. We had them install Closed cell spray foam in the wall between garage and family room, also all rim joists in basement. They worked with me on dates to coordinate with other construction being done.
When they showed up they told my husband all the items in the basement needed to be pulled away from the wall. No one had given us any prep instructions prior to this. He was late for a meeting and left our teen-age son to do the work.
The installer commented that he was going to ruin our brand new carpet. He said later he was joking, but when my husband called me in a panic and wanted me to halt the work, NO ONE at the office would pick up the phone. I called all the numbers I had and emailed telling them to stop. I left work early to go control the situation. By then they were complete. The office had called the tech but never did call me. The technician claimed to have covered everything, but there is spray foam on everything! The first response from the office was to gently scrape it off. You can't scrape it off of countertops, carpet, inside boxes, on the ceiling, etc...
They haven't even responded to my last email. I would NEVER recommend them.

Response from Seal Tech Insulation
"Our company appreciates your feedback. We apologize for the inconveniences our office caused in failing to respond and the damage to your property. We would be more than happy to come out and remove the foam for you. We are taking measures to ensure this situation does not happen again."

They used a blown foam insulation around the outside perimeter of the house.  The house was easier to maintain the warmth after having the insulation was put around the perimeter.  They did the work in one day.

I was very pleased. I think they did an excellent job.

Let me tell you guys, the work was done and there was no difference what so ever. Initially i called the techs and told them something was wrong because its still very cold in my home. I was told they are up to their neck in work and would call me when they are free.  I NEVER got the call.  ( Let me just remind you all the winter of 2011 was very mild).  So Fast forward to winter of 2012, my house is freezing, freezing to the point where i'm worried something else is wrong with my house. It never occurred to me that the insulation i paid for was a fraud.  Case in point my pipes in my master bedroom froze and exploded in the walls in the winter of 2012 because it got so cold in my home that i live in!  Fast forward to this january 2013 my pipes froze again! Feed up i was told the only thing to do was get a energy audit and pinpoint exactly what was going on.  Let me tell you I had Ms. Green Construction do the energy audit, which by the way, does occasionally energy audits for Seal Tech Insulation.  Upon finishing my audit and sitting down with me to explain what was going on in my home the first question i was asked was did a friend do the insulation?  According to Ms Green Construction and my energy audit thats is proven scientific fact the people at Seal Tech took my money and did nothing!  The thermal scans shows my walls cold as if nothing were even in them, Ms Green explained that they didn't even diagnose the problem because the walls wasn't even my problem!  So in addition to selling me something i didn't even need, they didn't even do that service half right. The only power we consumers have against stores and businesses that mistreat their customers and screw them over is to take our business else where.  I implore you all that have gotten work done from Seal Tech Insulation to go get a energy audit to make sure they didn't screw you over like they did me.  Get a energy audit to make sure they did what PAID them to do, please i beg you.  These are our homes and these companies are coming and just taking advantage of us doing what they want with no repercussion what so ever.  For the new customers who are looking to use this company, turn around and run away!  This company lies and tell you what you want to hear in order to get a sell, its that simple.  Please call someone else, Ms Green Construction is who i recommend, she cares these people know what they are doing! I had to learn the hard way so you would!  Please lets stick together as consumers and show companies like this in the only way they understand and thats to take our business elsewhere! I will talk to anyone willing to listen to my horrible experience getting swindled by this unscrupulous company
Response from Seal Tech Insulation
"We have received the complaint from the member. We would be happy to go back out to his home and go over the thermal scan pictures with him and correct any areas that can be corrected. This complaint was the first time the main office has heard of his pipes freezing. We will have the shop supervisor contact the member to schedule a day during the week of March 11-15 to resolve this matter."

The salesman that came to the house and gave the quote was professional and did not apply any pressure to buy. He listened to what I was looking to have completed and was able to give me a very competitive quote. I did acquire two more quotes but Seal Tech provided me not only the better quote but also the most comfortable. The installers showed up on time, took precaution to protect our landscaping and installed the foam insulation. We noticed that the application in the walls have left our home much more comfortable and over the past three months our utility usage has gone down at least 10% each month.

Brad, the salesman came out and gave an estimate to spray foam insulation under entire cottage.  Unfortunately, i was not there when he came, so he didn't have complete access to the crawl space.  The original estimate was around $2700 to spray the entire space.  We scheduled a time/day.  The service techs came that day, but many hours later than I was told by the salesman (not their doing).  However, when they did arrive, they were extremely professional, efficient and polite! They were definitely experts and highly trained.  I encountered some issues with "access" to certian areas under the house.  They did what they could, explained and showed me the situation.  Since they were unable to spray all quoted areas, about 560 sq ft., I was given a refund on that portion ( about $1000). The guys were great to work with, very honest and qualified.   I will use them again.  I feel the price was good - another company quoted $1200 more.

The representative that came out to provide the estimate was professional and personable.  The estimate/cost of the project was reasonable.   The men that came out to provide the service were professional also.  They came in, explained the process and proceeded to complete the work.  They were finished in 5 hours, cleaned up after theirselves and ensured all of my questions were answered.  Well done!

The salesman was very friendly.  He came to my home to provide a quote, then returned to provide a separate quote when I decided to have a different type of insulation installed. He provided several options, and never put on the hard sell.

The insulation team arrived on time for the installation.  They covered everything in the area in plastic and were very respectful of my home.  They worked very hard the entire time and completed the job pretty quickly for a decent sized job.   They cleaned up all their materials and left everything the way they found it.

Salespeson was very nice and accomodating to our schedule.  He provided a quote that was a decent price for the work being done.  There was absoluetly no high pressure or pushy sales pitch.  One word of caution would be know exactly what you want done (partly my fault).  All second floor walls was not specific enough apparently.  We have a great room and the salesman quoted part of the 18' wall, but when the work crew came out they said there was no way to stop the insulation from filling the whole wall.  They considered it a first floor wall and we decided to have the price adjusted to skip the wall.  I would suggest walking around with the salesperson and know exactly what they are quoting.

Crew came out and did a good job on both he attic and foam wall insulation.  Everyone was professional and courteous.  They cleaned up after they were done.  It definitely made a difference this winter to the comfort in our bedrooms.

The crew of 4 men came out to my house, and walked around the house before the work need to be done. They also came inside to make sure I had taken everything off my walls and to see where my cold air returns were. I have a 2 story home with a walk out basement. The started taking the siding off, then they drilled holes so they can put the Tri Polymer foam into the walls of my house. They put plugs into the holes and put the siding back on. They also had to drill holes into the block walls of my walk out basement, then fill the holes with Tri Polymer foam. They re-cemented the holes they drilled. They cleaned up all their mess, the whole job took about 8-9 hours. My husband also talked with one of the guys about some other places we needed sealed up, and he told him they needed to use some other kind of material for that job but it would not be a problem. So far we can tell a difference in our home. Looking foward to lowering our heating bills.

It went ok overall, pretty average. They started smoking in our house and it took them two days and they were supposed to be done in one day. They were pretty messy too.

The workers were on time. All the insulation work was done pretty efficiently. They had a pretty large crew come out and work. They removed pieces of siding and then pumped the insulation in and then replaced the siding. They do have to heat the foam to 150 degrees to pump it and so if they have to go inside they have to drag this hose in the house. They cleaned up OK, but not exceptionally well. They did not do as good cleaning up inside as they did outside. I would have liked them to clean up a little better. I had a little bit of landscape damage, but not a lot. For the most part everything still looks OK. In order to get to part of the attic, they had to cut a hole in the wall in the house and it was very messy. I also have to fix the hole, but it was part of the deal. I wanted them to remove some of the old insulation in the attic, but it was an added cost. All in all I think they did a pretty good job with the insulation work, although they did leave a bit of a mess in the house.

I would give them E's across the board if I could. I do not feel that they did the job that they promised. They left dents in my siding and loosened some siding that was not repaired. They did not respect my property. I would not hire them again.
