the initial contact was professional, the workers who showed up were professional and did a good job my husband and i thought they were our neighbors down the street because they showed up in street clothes (unprofessional) no uniforms or shirts that showed they were from drain king bad for business

He did a great job. Come, work, and finish. He very clean. Very knowledgeable and good communication.

Crew was prompt. Got down to business immediately. Showed me the problem and explained what needed to be done. Patiently answered all my questions.

Used tarps to contain mess and left no mess afterwards.  Issue seems to be resolved as drain is no longer backing up in basement.

I had a small job and was treated like a VIP.  We couldn't use the bathroom sink because it was so stopped up.  I called Monday afternoon & someone was out the very next morning.   It only cost $99 to come all the way over, get out the tools, clear the line, clean up, and then do the paperwork.  Quality of life just improved around here!  Brian was very professional & personable.  Thanks!!

The project went very well.  They were very professional and on time.  They also took the time to explain the drain system and the results of their inspection.  I would definitely use them again in the future.

I?ll add another jewel to their crown at Drain King!  Rick the Root Wrestler rules!  In all seriousness, Drain King performed a challenging cleanout of many large roots from a 70 foot sycamore that were causing our sewer to back up into the basement and they did it the day after Christmas.

Two days before Christmas when our sewer backed up, our plumber informed us he could no longer get his equipment through the drain to clean it out and recommended Drain King.  We checked them out on Angie?s List and they came right away to provide an initial video inspection and an estimate. I watched the video with them and there were several blockages including an exceptionally hard root knot that would need to be extracted from outside.

They arrived at 9 AM and did not leave until the job was done ? after 7 PM, in the dark.  There were so many roots wrapped around and grown into the 50 year old drain.  My husband watched the whole time and their teamwork was phenomenal, the excavator skilled, and Rick was incredibly persistent until the last root, longer than my arm and with a much larger diameter, was pulled out. Awesome job!

They did the job. They were good. They cleaned up after themselves and all that good stuff. Good interaction.

Mike and his crew were great to work with from the get go.  It was easy to get a quote for our job, and Mike & Rick were very patient with ALL of our questions we had leading up to the project.  Once we finally decided all we wanted them to do, it was easy to set up a time for them to come out, they arrived when they said they would and got right to work.  Eric did a great job excavating for us.  We had four posts that we had just cemented in when we discovered roots in our sewer, even though they were in the area we had dig, Eric didn't damage any of them and was able to leave two of them in the ground. The whole crew was always willing to explain what was going on and what was happening next.  It was hard for my husband not to be there (he's very particular and likes to oversee work being done), but they were very gracious with all of our questions and my desire to take lots of pictures of the progress.  They would even tell me when they were at a good spot to take a picture to send!   Rick did a fabulous job with the plumbing, he thought it all through so well and executed it with great precision.  The crew was very personable, they seemed to enjoy working together and it was easy to have them in our home.  They did a great job at a reasonable price and completed when they said they would.  We are very pleased to have hired Drain King.

Mike, Dick and Eric showed up on time and ready to work.  They started the excavation, and had the crushed pipe replace by early afternoon. They were very professional and courteous. They worked together as a team to get the job done quickly and made sure that the job was done right. You could tell that they take pride in their work and that the company takes pride in their employees They exceeded expectations, were friendly and kept us informed about the work they were doing.. It was great to deal with a company that made you feel as though your job was important. We will call Drain King for all our plumbing needs.

I think I got them from Angie's List.  What I liked about them is that they came the day they said they would.  They were running late on the day they came to do the appraisal or the estimation but they called like three times to let me know that they were going to be late.  They asked me if I want to wait for them or have it rescheduled so I found that very helpful.  Then they showed up and did everything just like they were supposed to for the job.  They did everything and they were really good.  I had a waterline break outside so they repaired it, fixed it and reburied it.  They got a permit from the city to do it and had the people from the township come out and look at it before they closed it all up.  I've never had anything like this done before but it seemed like a reasonable price to dig up all that they did.

Rick and Brian were very professional.  I would definitely call Drain King again.  I'm also considering (very seriously) calling them to replace our sewer line in the near future.

They showed up on time and did a great job, all for a reasonable price.  Very friendly.  They didn't rush and took time to explain their findings.  Gave me a USB memory stick with a video recording of the inside of my sewer line.

Drain King came to assess the problem on the same day called. At no charge, Rick and and a helper carried out a camera inspection of the underground storm drain, which collected rain water from roof gutters and patio drain. Backup of the latter caused water to enter basement through window well. They detected a partial blockage of the storm drain about 25 feet away, underneath a flower bed. Later that day we dug up the plants that were in the way to expose the pipe and the workers returned 2 days latter to remove the damaged section of pipe and insert new pipe to close the gap, then checked to make sure that free flow was restored. They replaced the soil and we took care of the replanting. Since then we have had several heavy rains, but no further problem with basement flooding.
This experience is in stark contrast to an earlier visit from another company which charged $199 for the inspection and were of the opinion that the blockage was in the middle of the lawn and would cost $2500 to fix, not including repairing substantial damage to the lawn. The fact that the technician was reluctant to submerge the camera probe in water so as to avoid damaging it, did not inspire confidence. We then got a quote from Drain King and are very glad that we did.
I would highly recommend Drain King to anyone with a plumbing or drainage problem.

Well, after experiencing years and years of a wet basement and being screwed around by basically every plumber in SE Michigan (maybe a slight exaggeration), Drain King workers (Rick and Brian) quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it.  Our basement was dry during the recent heavy rains!
