WONDERFUL!! PERFECT!! So glad my neighbors recommended them to me. ??. Already asked about a job for next season. Would definitely use them again, and again, and again. You will not be disappointed!! FYI, bottom pic with my son in it(lol). Is before the final sealing and acid wash.

We are new homeowners and had a neglected inground pool that we wanted to get repaired. The liner was in need of replacement and the pool needed additional work: The pool steps were weak, one wall had a large rust area, and the vermiculite was destroyed. Downriver fixed it all at a great price. Ron and his crew cut out the concrete around the steps, dug out the dirt under the steps, fixed the step supports, and added cinder blocks under the steps to make it very strong. He found the cause for the rusted wall, a pipe repair that hadn't been blocked off correctly, fixed a small hole in the wall, and removed the surface rust, topping it off with foam. All of the vermiculite was redone. A different contractor I had considered had me questioning whether is was more cost effective to fill vs. repair, but Ron was clear about what it would take and what it would cost, and the final price was the same as the estimate. We now have a beautiful "new to us" pool.

Quick response back from Ron. He came to our home, checked measurements, provided us with liner designs to pick from, ordered the liner and installed it. The liner looks great, the service was quick and Ron and crew were professional. Definitely would hire Ron and Downriver Pool again.

I can't even explain how awesome they are. So helpful, so hardworking, dedicated. I will not use anyone else for my pool needs. They are honest and not out to get you to spend extra money on things that you do not need. I am so impressed!

It went extremely well he gave us a prompt response and wrote up a very professional proposal with references . They conducted their work in a timely and professional manner. We also got a couple other references and they were competitively price and they still came in lower. It exceeded our expectations

I found Downriver Pool Service on Angies list.  Even though I called very late in the season, my call was returned promptly to set up an appointment.
On the originally scheduled date it was raining and cold.  I received a telephone call asking if I would be willing to change the day, but if I could not, they would come out in the rain do do the job.   The caller was concerned that I might have taken off work to be present when they came out.  I said there was no problem and we rescheduled for the next day.  I really appreciated their concern for a brand new customer.
The next day Ron and his associate from Downriver Pool service arrived on time, worked efficiently, were very professional, and did a excellent job closing my pool.
Also, since I do not cover my pool in the winter, Ron gave a $50 discount from the normal price.
Good job.

Finding a good pool contractor at the beginning of the pool season is hard. I contacted several who were doubtful they could get to me for a while and their prices were high. Ron at DownRiver had no illusion about how busy he was but came early i nthe mronin a nd late at night (After jobs) to provide a detailed quote.
He gave me a lot of advice and estimated being onsite within about 3 -4 weeks.
They called several times to let us kniw the measurements had eben accepted, and the likely delivery date of the liner.
When they arrived with everything, they worked solidly and cleaned up after themselves. After previous experiences of being left hanging by pool contractors it was great to have the entire pool refurbished and looking wonderful within 2 or 3 days.
So far (3 weeks later) the pool continues to sparkle. I will definately use this Team again..

After contacting Downriver Pool Service through Angie's List, Ron contacted us within 24 hours and he came out the same day he contacted us.  When he arrived, he and one of his associates completely disassembled our pool pump to check that all internal parts were working properly and not defective.  They then lubricated all the mechanics, reassembled the pump and proceeded to test it.  It ran PERFECTLY!
I was impressed with Ron's knowledge and ability to speak in a way that was easy to understand.  They are very professional and personable.  We felt at ease through the whole experience.
Thanks Ron...not only did you save the day, but now I am moving all of our pool services to Downriver Pools.

I purchased my house in January and opened up the pool in April to discover a black pond full of leaves.  Ron's team got the pool cleaned up to a pristine state.  They installed a new pump, sand filter, and salt-water chlorinator when they said they would with excellent workmanship.  Prices were very reasonable and I felt very comfortable dealing with Ron.

Ron has been doing the opening and closing of my pool for three years now.  Ron and his wife has been wonderful to work with!  I call to schedule the opening/closing with Ron's wife who answers promptly or will call you right back. She always remembers my name and is always warm, friendly, and professional.  If I have a questions about something she either answers it or calls me back with the answer.  Ron shows up when he is scheduled, does a great job and appears to be very thorough!  He brings all the chemicals, pumps, and equipment with him. If I have any special requests, he takes care of it right then.  He cleans up everything and calls to let me know the job is done.  What used to take me and my ex-husband 4-6 hours or more to do, he does in an hour and a half!  One of the best decisions I ever made was to call Ron!  I highly recommend Ron for a job well done! Keep up the great work Ron! See you in May/June!

It went awesome. They are dependable and reliable. They put all the products in, fold up the cover, and clean them. When the pool closes they drain the pool and clean it as well as the products for the winter. They also cover the pool. I also had an electrical cord break and he fixed it for me. I can not say enough good things.

We were very pleased with the job that was done.  We had 2 other companies come out for an estimate.  One company was double the price.  The other company said they would not dig under the sidewalk - that we would have to have a another company come out and break up the sidewalk sections, and then come back to replace the cement.  They did not give us any recommendations as to who would do such a small job.  Their price was comparable, but we didn't get a good feeling about their service starting with the salesman.
Downriver Pool Service (Ron) was very responsive and very respectful.  Ron answered calls within a reasonable time.  He gave us options of different heaters and explained the pros and cons of each.  He let us make the decision about the heater itself. He said he and his partner would break up the sidewalk themselves and then replace it, within the price they quoted.  When they started the job, they decided to try to dig under, and they were able to do it without disrupting the cement.  They replaced the dirt in the trench and packed tightly under the sidewalk to prevent sinking.   Ron spent time going over the care of the pool heater, making very good suggestions. The work was done in a timely fashion. There was a little delay because the city had to approve the gas line. But, as soon as that was done, Ron was out the next day to finish the job.  We recommend this company very highly.

They rocked! They showed up on time and they actually suggested that we didn't need to do a lot of work some other people had suggested we needed done. They didn't overcharge us and suggested things that saved us a lot of money. They just cared about doing a good job. They charged $1000 to power wash the pool and $100 to change some valves.

Excellent, I emailed to get an estimate, they replied within hours, I called a week later and set a date for repair, they were available at a good time for me.  On the day of the repair they came in, did the job, and neatly stacked the trash. The pool, which I was going to tear down, has been running problem free.
