Excellent. Completed work as agreed. Cleaned up so well (including stump removal on three of the removed trees) that after they finished you would not even know they had been at our home.

We had some dead Ash trees removed, and others injected to try and save them from the Emerald Ash borer. A huge Elm tree was treated for scale and aphids. The workers were friendly and professional, and went over the plans just to make sure. They did a great job cleaning up the mess. I would hire them again!

They were prompt, quick and professional. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The original bid was higher than the actual cost, which was a nice surprise. I would recommend them and would hire them again!

The crew showed up at the appointed time and began work like a finely tuned machine. If I had not seen how they managed to remove those trees in the confined area in which they had to work, I would not have believed it possible. These guys are real pros.
They took care to protect existing plants and the lawn to the extent of making things look as it was before the work began.
We appreciated the courteous manner in which they communicated with us. throughout the whole process. I would happily refer this company to any of my friends and neighbors.

This was the second time they've done work for me, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The owner comes out himself to assess the situation and provide an estimate. We needed our oak trees to be trimmed, and they were able to come out within a few weeks of being contacted to do the job before while the weather was still cold (it's potentially harmful to the oaks to be trimmed when it's above 60 degrees).
They worked very fast and did an excellent job. Our trees look great. They left absolutely no trace. In addition to prompt service and high quality work, their estimate was much lower than their competitors'. I'll only use them for tree work from now on, and I freely recommend them to anyone else.

I have used Woodland Tree Service for over 20 years. They always do a profesional job and leave your yard looking like they were never there. They are busy and the wait list can be long. But if it is not an emergency they are worth the wait.

"Thank you so much for the kind words. 2014 was an especially difficult year for us, with the tornado that hit the Kentwood area in the spring. We do often get booked up later in the season, but the tornado and other storm work did put us behind even further - and trees IN homes has to be our first priority, along with others who have contracted with us prior. We would like to just make a note, that if work is scheduled, early in the year - there often isn't a long wait. ~ Thank you again for your trust in Woodland Tree Services, Inc!"

Woodland came out and gave an estimate. Took awhile to get on the calendar but was warned there was a backlog so we were aware of the wait. Once they got they the work was quick, professional and worry free. Thanks Guys!

I cannot say enough about this company. Very professional and did an excellent job. We had 7 large trees removed, and a total of 43 tree stumps ground out of our back yard. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up everything after the job was completed. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future. Also, they were the most competitive with their pricing and great to work with.

Worth the wait, but wow, what a wait!
Woodland came out in mid-August, three weeks after I had requested a quote and called back to find out if they were ever coming. Once there, they provided a very thorough estimate which included a diagram of my yard and trees. They mentioned that oak trees should be trimmed in the Fall or later and estimated they'd be out to do the work in mid October.
Mid October came and went without any work being done or anyone checking in to communicate a changing timeframe. When I called, I was told that they were running behind for various reasons and would get back with me in a couple of weeks. I waited a couple of weeks, called again and was informed that I was on the schedule for late November.
I was almost regretting my decision to hire them after these administrative hiccups and woeful lack of communication.
Alas, all was forgiven and my faith restored when they came in Novermber as they said they would and did a FANTASTIC job removing trees, gringing stumps and brush and even sweeping sawdust off my roof, decks and driveways. They did a great job cleaning up my yard and the trees look awesome!
I will put them to work in the future without hesitation but with perhaps a little more lead time.

The work was totally satisfactory. What was not satisfactory was the 2 month wait with no follow up calls. But when I reminded them of the job, they did schedule a date. The day they came and began work, I was impressed with their skill and the neat way they worked. Everything was cleaned up.

The crew was very professional, polite, answered all questions and pointed out any problems that might occur in the future do to prior damage to trees. Complete clean up when done. Would highly recommend Woodland Tree Service

They came in and stated work right away, no heavy equipment was used, it was all done with a climber and ropes. I was able to keep the wood chips and to my surprise they even put them in the area that I wanted them in. They left the tree atmy request and ground down the stump. They did a great job and I would use them again.
