All was done promptly and correctly.

After about a month, I got a call that it might be next spring before they could get to it. Around the middle of November, they called to say they would be able to do it yet this year. They came Nov. 27, after calling the week prior to say exactly when they were coming. They put in the pipes on Monday, then finished installing the sprinkler heads and control system on Tuesday. They left the yard looking very well done. If this were in the summer with the grass actively growing, you'd hardly know they had done all the work. They did nick the buried internet cable in two places, but Comcast was very good to come out the next day and fix it. Joe and Kyle were very apologetic about that, and the Comcast guy said this often happens. They will test it in the spring.

Perfect.. the man from Splash Irrigation arrived on time and completed the task efficiently. He was very polite.

We had a new zone added to our existing system. We also had several heads added to our existing zones which required more trenching. They replaced some of the existing heads that weren't functional, added a rain sensor, adjusted everything to my satisfaction and cleaned up after. There are no dry spots anymore. Would hire again.

It went great, I would highly recommend them.

As I recall, everything went without a hitch.  They were only here for a few hours, had everything hooked up, and it was all done very professionally.  They even suggested that I contact my local municipality about having a second water meter installed, so I did not get charged sewer fees for my lawn sprinkling usage.  That saved me money for many outdoor watering operations such as filling the pool.
I only came here to post a review for them, because it's been nearly 14 years since they installed this system and it's still running today.  I had to call them today to find out if they still had a diagram of the pipes that they put under my yard, because my neighbor is having some work done near the property line.
Over the years, I've had to replace a sprinkler head here or there due to ground upheaval during the winter or the occasional snow plow taking one out near the driveway.  I believe I had to have a solenoid replaced once, in the back yard switching mechanism.
Other than that, the original system has been working and keeping my lawn well hydrated for nearly 14 years!

We had to reschedule a few times due to rain - obviously something they could not control. They arrived on the appointed day with a large crew. The owner Dan marked out the system and the crew got to work immediately. There were several heavy rainshowers throughout the day but they worked steadily and made excellent progress working until 6:30 or 7 pm. Two of the crewmembers returned the next day and finished the back yard. I was very impressed by the effort they made to ensure that water would not hit the house or foundation. They spent a lot of time fine-tuning the direction and field of coverage of each sprinkler head. When they were finally satisfied, they did an excellent job cleaning up, replacing sod, moving rocks and landscape fabric they dug up in the process. I could not be more pleased, far superior to any of the 3-4 irrigation contractors I have used since I moved to the Grand Rapids area 10 years ago.

As stated above, they are very professional, knowlegeable and courteous.

The head of the company came out and discussed where the sprinkler heads would go and even made some small modifications based on our input.  On a hot day in a dry month, a willing crew came out to dig the trenches and install everything - it was all done in one day.  4 days later I panicked when the lawn over each pipeline was dry & brown, but within 2 weeks the watering and new grass seed did the trick and the whole lawn greened up.   The new system works great!

Considered each location and installed a specific and unique sprinkler depending on whether it was flat grass or hilly garden.  They have since come out twice to service the system.  Very courteous and punctual.

Dan McIntyre, the owner , came and listened to us. He designed a great, simple, efficient system using quality materials. His crew came and did the work in one day. Came back to add one or two things (they had to wait for the city and my plumber to install a new meter) and showed us how to operate the system. We give them our highest recommendation!

Splash did a great job, figuring out how to meet our objectives. They cleaned up after themselves and within a few days you could not tell they had buried tubing and controls in the yard. The updated system works well.

I received about 7 quotes from other vendors in the area, some from word of mouth, some from online, some from print ads. Splash was not the least expensive quote, but I felt that they were by far the best value when I looked at the total package. They were prompt and delivered the service exactly like we had discussed. The crew was very nice and very careful while on my property. 

Dan (the owner) talked about his reputation in the area quite a bit before we decided to go with Splash and it was one of the factors that led me to use them. He's a very down to earth guy whom you get a good feeling that you could trust that he's going to do what it takes to make sure you are happy. 

Let's be honest, irrigation systems can be very complicated at times. The one thing I noticed with all the vendors that I spoke with is that there are many different ways to put one in and tweak it. Which means that there's probably going to be multiple rounds of tweaking and adjusting to ensure that you get the system setup properly. It's not like gutters where they go in and you really forget about them for 15 years. 

After the initial install they had to come back and make some initial adjustments, move a few heads and fix some minimal stuff. They were very prompt and fixed everything to a point that incredibly impressive. I saw first hand that Dan and his crew take a tremendous amount of pride in making a job right. They understand that it's the little things like making tweaks and "giving the customer what they are asking for" is what sets apart excellent service from average service. I never had to ask twice for anything, they listened and fixed things right the first time I talked about it. And they didn't make a big deal about anything. 

In the past 8 months, we've built a new home and had just about every contractor you could imagine come through our door. These guys are tremendous. They have been hands down the best contractors that my wife and I have worked with. I would highly recommend that you use Splash irrigation.

They were responsive and professional. They mapped out the sprinklers and I felt they were the best value for what I was getting.

it went very well. they were to start on a Monday but we had a heavy rain fall that weekend and they did not want to have their heavy equipment making dents in the lawn. they came Tuesday and finished up on w wednesday morning.

Great. Did it in about 30 minutes, and even told me I didn't have to have anything special done in the spring to get it started again; whereas our previous service told us they had to come out and turn it on in the spring time.
