The sales folks at Rockford Floor Covering are knowledgeable and helpful but not overbearing. My order was placed, a date for installation set. The installers showed up right on time, moved some furniture carefully, installed the carpet and left everything in good shape.  I am happy with the way it looks and would certainly plan to contact them for other projects.

Start to finish, this was a wonderful experience.  We were greeted promptly in the store, explained what we were thinking to our sales rep,  Ron, and he had ideas for us immediately.  We left with samples and a date for an estimate within 20 minutes.  Ron arrived promptly and the estimate came in nearly $400 under what we anticipated spending.  We ordered the carpet that week and had a date for install 2 weeks out.  Our installer was prompt, professional, and the carpet looks amazing.  Every phone call I've made has been answered so politely and warmly.  I can't say enough good things about our experience.  It's no wonder all of our family members and fellow church parishioners recommended them so highly to us.  We will continue to pass their name along to anyone who asks.

We live in Denver and I am the Executor of a family estate in Grand Rapids that required new vinyl flooring in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Being 1,100 miles away, we needed an honest, affordable, reliable and competent flooring contractor. We selected Rockford Floor Covering on Angie's List
Rockford Floor Covering far exceeded every expectation, and I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone. In late March, we requested a free estimate and installation timetable that met our needs. They coordinated with our local friend/property manager to gain access to the house and measured the job. Their price range was very reasonable. We arrived in GR in April and met with Ray, who brought out samples for our selection and provided a firm quote for the exact material we selected, that was met to the dollar - NO surprises or up sales. Their price was better than others but ethics and a quality installation were the most important decision factors. RFC use their own installers, vs. random contract installers like the big box stores, which was the key deciding factor since all flooring companies offer the same brands.
We arranged for an installation 3 weeks later, that was 8 days before the estate auction. They arrived spot on time and provided 2 installers who did the job in 1 day as promised. We arrived back in GR on May 4th and were  blown away by the quality of the job. The installation was perfect and two rooms were laid in one single piece - NO seams, perfect installation, including base boards and moldings. The bill was to the penny of the estimate - again no surprises.
When people asked who did the installation, we told them Rockford, and all said that Rockford was an old reliable firm.

Arrived on time, carefully moved furniture, removed old carpet, cleaned up, installed new carpet quickly, and moved furniture back. Nice job!

Rockford was great from start to finish! Brian my salesperson great to work with, quick to respond with quote and follow-ups.  Todd was my installer, very professional, great work.  Would not hesistate to work with this company again.  All employees I dealt wtih were excellent!

I didn't like the color of the carpet and they allowed me to replace it at no cost to me. I thought I had ordered lighter colored carpet but the manufacturer may have used a slightly different die lot. I was very very pleased with their service and their prices are the best in this area.

Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about different types of carpeting.  Andy was very courteous and professional to work with.  There were some extra uncut loops in one area of the carpet, and he has been working with me to insure my satisfaction and quality of the product I purchased.
I would recommend them and will shop with them again.

Their prices, quality & service simply cannot be beat!!! Always helpful, friendly & on time! They're like dealing with family/friends everytime we go there. In August we will be having them put new flooring on our main floor for the second time since we've owned the house. Don't even consider using anyone else!!!

Our fish tank dumped 30 gallons of fish water on the carpet.  I pulled back the carpet and removed the affected pad.  Erik arrived and relaid pad and reattached the carpeting to the furring strips.  He was quick and did a great job.

This is the second time we purchased carpet from Rockford Floor Covering. They carpeted the basement for the lowest price without compromising quality or service. Price, timing and install were all as promised. We recently had to tear up the carpet due to animal accident. We were on a very tight timeline and it needed to be done right away. They were great in getting us scheduled, even though they were booked! From the sales to the installer, all professional, friendly and respectful. Their service is exactly what i would expect from a local home town shop. I was recommended to them when we first did the basement and continue to recommend, highly, their services. Do your homework, get your pricing, see them last and you will find that with Rockford Floor Cover you'll get the best deal and service.

I can't say enough about the service provided by Rockford Floor Covering.  Brian Toby was my main contact, but I also worked with Dave.  Everyone there was accommodating and knowledgeable.  I am very pleased with the wood and carpet choices and with the way they are looking several months after installation. Their prices  compete with the big box stores, but the service is so much better.  They have many years of flooring experience and stand by their products and installation.  We  have already had Brian back to measure for a job in the basement.

The experience with them was excellent from the moment we walked into the store.  The person (Dave) who greeted us was also the person who came to our home for the measurements and saw the entire project from start to end, including a follow up call afterwards to see how installation went.  
We were a bit nervous to pick out carpeting and flooring as it can be overwhelming to see all the samples in a show room!  However, Dave is very knowledgeable in all areas and did a great job in narrowing our search and made very helpful recommendations NOT based on highest cost but best quality for our purpose!  
The installation teams were GREAT!  We had an unknown issue in bathroom floor which the head of the team pointed out and also repaired at a very low cost.  They were very professional, friendly and took great care in installation and clean up.

Overall, it was OK.  When they installed the carpet, I did not get to look at the pad being used and feel that it was not the best.  I am still having issues with carpet fibers coming up in certain spots.  The vinyl in the bathroom looks fine.

They did a great job.  The prices were great.  They were very helpful.  They came up to the house to measure it and did a really nice job installing.  They cleaned up after they were done.

The crew sent out for installation was wonderful and prompt.  They were very professional and did a great job.  They were recommended by the restoration company and didn’t take any shortcuts.  They completed the job quickly and had a variety of samples.   There were 2 groups of people, one for the hardwood flooring and the other for carpets and both were great to deal with.  I liked their services and will use the same in future.
